Britain's Audley Harrison maintained his unbeaten professional record with a third-round win over American Brian Nix in Nevada on Friday. The heavyweight was fighting in his first 10-round bout but needed less than eight minutes to see off Nix.
"I was being a bit merciful in the first two rounds but took advantage of my full arsenal early in the third round," said Harrison.
"I would now like to contest for the British title next year."
Harrison used his right jab to good effect in the opening stages of the contest before opening up with some uppercuts in the third.

Nix got up off the deck once before the 32-year-old Briton produced a quality combination to stop the fight. Harrison, who has not fought on home soil since last May, has now set his sights on claiming Danny Williams' British heavyweight crown next year.
"Back in the UK, there are a few domestic rivals that have been calling me out, such as Danny Williams," said the 2000 Olympic champion.
"As a professional you haven't seen the best of Audley Harrison yet.
"I am on course, still learning and getting better in the professional game with each fight.
"I truly believe that I will be the heavyweight champion of the world within the next two years."
Highlights of the fight will be shown on BBC Grandstand on Saturday.
