Dutch speed skater Xandra Velzeboer wins the gold medal in the women's 500m short track event, having slipped in the mixed relay event earlier in the week and setting a new world record in her earlier semi-final. Defending champion Arianna Fontana claimed silver - the 13th Olympic medal of her career.
