Of course Robertson was going to win 6-2! What a bizarre turn of events for this to have occurred. I wonder what the quarter finals have in store?

  10. Robertson closing in on last eightpublished at 22:16 GMT 14 January

    Robertson 5-2 Wakelin

Chris Wakelin needs a couple of snookers by the time they get to the pink. His hopes of winning this frame look forlorn and so it proves, even if he does manage to get Neil Robertson to miss once.

I think I know where this is going. All first rounds end 6-2, second rounds 6-3, semi finals 6-4, and the final will be going to a final frame classic!

The commentators are strongly favouring Robertson but those of us familiar with Wakelin know how impressive he can be. Come on Chris!

Going to my first ever live match at tomorrow evening's quarter final and at this point if it's not 6-2 I'm gonna feel cheated and let down.

Neil Robertson has allowed Chris Wakelin to go into the interval feeling good about himself.

Chris looked totally relaxed and played at a nice pace. Why did Neil take on that shot - a dead weight roll? I think it was a crazy shot to play.
