What a great tournament and final. And a richly deserved winner who’s been through the mill and come out the other side. A very humble and sporting guy as well.

    Paul, Yorkshire

Well done to Mark there, he held on and recovered well!

    Thomas, Leeds

Congratulations Mark Selby. Fantastic performance, deserves the title. Granite snooker

    Gerard, Liverpool

Having lost 6 of the previous 8 frames that is one hell of a finish from Selby. Quite astonishing, well played Mark.

    Ben, Kirkby

What a game! Two of the greats. Selby is on incredible form but you know Judd will come back with a vengeance

Mark has been the best player the entire week. I think 2-1 behind to Zhou Yuelong was the only time he was behind.

He was an awesome competitor all week - and it was the right result.

More from Mark Selby on BBC Two:

"I set my target every year to win one of these three tournaments (Triple Crown). It's not easy to do but that's my goal and if I pick up some other tournaments along the way, fantastic.

"I think I speak for all the top boys, the other tournaments are great but you are judged by these Triple Crown events - like the Grand Slams in tennis - so I'm chuffed to win another."

    Breaking

    Trump 8-10 Selby

Mark Selby seals victory in style with a couple of exhibition shots to the delight of the Barbican crowd.

He dominated the afternoon session to lead 6-2 but had to ward off a fightback from world number one Judd Trump that took this final deeper than many would have expected a few hours ago.

In the end, a sublime break of 70 from an incredibly difficult position wraps things up and gives Selby his 10th Triple Crown title.

The lead is 40 - seven reds remain but most are closed to cushions or tied up.

Selby develops one with a fine screw-back off the black, though.

It's becoming a better chance than it started as - thanks to Selby's hard work.

It would be ironic if he wins this match from this visit because it is far more difficult than the chance he messed up in the last frame.

Sometimes when you get chances like this you are not to expecting to win it at this visit but you just keep playing shot after shot.

Can't believe I'm saying this with Selby up 9-8, but it really feels like Trump is the favourite!

What a final! It's got everything, fantastic pots and safety shots and could go either way.

    Trump 8-9 Selby

    Stalemate broken.

Mark Selby gets the white behind the yellow, snookering Judd Trump on most reds.

He goes for a powerful long shot with screw-back but balls fly everywhere - it leaves Mark Selby a chance of a mid-distance red, which he strokes in.

Can he hold himself together after that shocker in the previous frame?
