Leinster have won two out of two, while Tigers are pointless from their opening two matches.

Leinster hooker Dan Sheehan, speaking to Premier Sports:

"We came in at half-time and we said there wasn’t a whole lot we could have done better, they got two breakaway tries, we thought our physicality was there.

"We did a good job in the second half staying calm and using our set-piece to get over the line a few times.

"I thought their defence was excellent today it’s a tough place to come so delighted with the win.

"[The European games] kind of gave us a chance to reset the season. We’re happy with the last two performances to get our season kicking."

Leinster didn't play well but they are in a strong position in the group and winning ugly is a sign of a good team.

Leinster lock and man of the match Joe McCarthy, speaking to Premier Sports:

"We’ve never had it easy coming here playing Leicester, the crowd gets on top of you but we’re delighted to get that win, it was slow but we got it.

"We were down at half-time but we're really happy with the effort but lots to improve on. We’ll keep building."

Leicester showed fight and spirit and the way they worked as a team was fantastic, but eventually when they needed to generate their own attacking momentum they struggled at the end.

Leinster played as bad as they will probably play all season but they got the win and away from home that's a big deal.

When Leinster needed a moment, Gibson-Park delivered and his try changed everything.

Leinster spill the pill and that brings the contest to a close.

Leicester, after an excellent first half, come away with nothing and have lost two out of two.

The visitors came through a tough examination in the first half and they trailed at half-time but they completely dominated the second half, winning it 17-0.

A Leinster penalty in the final minute of play means that should be that.

Leinster gave Leicester a piggy-back into the game in the first half but they have dominated the second half and kept Leicester in their own half.

Leicester are desperately trying to get their hands on the ball as the clock ticks down but Leinster are keeping hold of it well.

They have seen this out well after a rocky first half.

Tigers just haven't had any territory.

Leicester scored two great tries in the first half but haven't managed a single point in the second.

At present they are ending up with no points at all to show for their efforts.

If that's the case they would be on 0 points from two games.

Leinster scrum-half and creator in chief Jamison Gibson-Park's work is done for the night.

His opportunist try early in the second half was a major momentum change in this contest.

That's really clinical work, a great set-up from the maul but it's come off the back of some smart kicking, building the pressure, putting up contestable kicks and then they kick for the corner and get the try.

Close but no cigar for Leinster.

Jamison Gibson-Park breaks but his pass to Max Deegan isn't collected - Leinster have had a few of those tonight.

They are on top now but can't quite put Leicester away yet.

And while there's one point in it, anything can happen.

Ollie Allen dummies a clearing kick as Tigers move it wide but the fly-half slices the ball out on the full.

Jamison Gibson-Park is yelling for the ball to get things moving for Leinster.

A fair few changes being made now for the final straight.

Fresh legs, particularly for Leicester, could make all the difference.

A stat just flashed up on screen there showing how hard Leicester have had to work today.

With 15 minutes left will tiredness creep in after this tough shift?

Robbie Henshaw is almost through a gap but spills it forward.

Adam Radwan has been quiet this half but gets his twinkle toes into the action with a cutback infield before being stopped.

Tigers try to go coast to coast and are on the attack when the referee gives a penalty against them - Cameron Henderson with a neck roll on Joe McCarthy at the previous breakdown.
