Edinburgh's Hive Stadium has been chosen to host the inaugural Celtic Challenge final on Saturday, 28 March (15:00 GMT).
The women's competition has introduced a play-off system in its third year, with two teams from Ireland, Wales and Scotland playing 10 regular rounds of home and away fixtures before two semi-finals and a final.
At the halfway stage of the season, title holders Wolfhounds top the table having won five from five, while Gwalia Lightning are three points behind in second.
Edinburgh, who sit fifth, will have to rely on a late push if they are to claim a spot in their home final.
The stadium for the competition's showpiece match is located next door to Murrayfield.
