Exeter hooker Max Norey signed a contract extension with the Prem club.
The 26-year-old academy graduate has played 33 times for the Chiefs since his debut in October 2019.
He has also spent time on loan at Champ side Cornish Pirates and Plymouth Albion in National One.
"He has recently had some injury problems but hopefully seems to have come through that all now," said director of rugby Rob Baxter.
"We always tend to use roughly three to five hookers per season, regardless of outcomes, so having a strong front row group is extremely important for where we'd like to go.
"Max is another example of a young player who has come through our academy, knows what we're all about as a club. He's someone we believe can be an important part of the squad as we look to build into the future."
Exeter have not disclosed the length of Norey's new deal.
