Bristol Bears loose-head prop Jake Woolmore has signed a new contract with the West Country club.
The 35-year-old has made 179 appearances since arriving from Jersey Reds in 2018. His 139 Premiership appearances makes him the Bears' second most capped Premiership player, behind fellow prop Darren Crompton.
"Bristol has become home for me and I'm incredibly proud to keep representing this club and community," said Woolmore. "I've loved being part of this group and the journey we've been on together.
"The ambition here is clear and I still feel I have plenty to give. I'm excited about what's ahead and determined to keep contributing in any way I can to help the team achieve its goals."
Bristol are currently third in the Premiership after 10 matches and they finished third in their Champions Cup group to qualify for the last 16.
Director of rugby Pat Lam said: "Jake is a Bristol Bears centurion and one of the most capped players to ever represent this club in the Premiership. He is hugely respected by everyone around him.
"His leadership, consistency and unwavering dedication set an example for others to follow and I'm delighted he has chosen to extend his stay into a ninth season.
"Jake embodies everything we value as a club - he is selfless, the ultimate team player and someone who drives standards every single day. Individuals like him are vital to building sustained success so we are absolutely thrilled he has committed his future to Bristol Bears."
