Scrum-half Carr-Smith extends Bath contract

Bath scrum-half Tom Carr-Smith has signed a contract extension to keep him at the club until 2027.

Carr-Smith, who turns 24 at the end of this month, emerged through Bath's youth set-up and made his Premiership debut during the 2022-23 season.

He has now worn the Bath shirt 49 times in all competitions, as well as representing England at youth and under-20 level.

"The people of Bath Rugby mean everything to me and I feel incredibly grateful to be a part of such a special group," Carr-Smith told the club website., external

"Bath is my home. I want to keep getting better and continue to win with this amazing club."

Carr-Smith is the second Bath player to agree a new deal with the club this week after long-serving full-back Tom de Glanville signed a contract to stay until 2028.
