Try-scorer Tom Pincus moved to Jersey in the summer from his native Australia
Jersey Reds recovered from a 12-0 half time deficit to beat newly promoted Hartpury College 20-19 for their first Championship win of the season.
Mat Gilbert and Nick Carpenter's tries gave Hartpury their first-half lead.
But Kieran Hardy's converted try after 52 minutes and Brendan Cope's penalty brought the islanders back into it.
Tom Pincus got his first Jersey try, which Cope converted, and then added a penalty before Elias Cavan's late try for Hartpury.
