Launceston prop Bruce Pow suffers long-term knee injury

Bruce Pow has featured in 12 of Launceston's 13 games this season

Launceston prop Bruce Pow is set to miss much of this season after suffering a knee injury.

The forward was hurt during the Cornish All Blacks' 20-18 win at Old Elthamians in National Two South on 29 November.

"That'll put Bruce on the sidelines for a few months," director of rugby Neil Bayliss told BBC Radio Cornwall.

The 27-year-old is the second front-rower to sustain a knee injury in the past fortnight, after hooker Darren Semmens underwent surgery.
