That's where we leave you tonight.

Four trophies in a row and a historic quadruple for Willie Peters' Hull KR who tonight have proven once and for all they are one of the greatest sides in the Super League era.

And they've won in their bitter rivals' backyard to do it, no less.

Attention turns to the rest of the weekend with Super League back in action from tomorrow night. We'll bring you reports and highlights of every game this gameweek, as we do every week throughout the season.

But for now, thank you for joining us.

  2. 'We found some grit when we needed to'published at 21:56 GMT 19 February

    FT: Hull KR 30-24 Brisbane

Hull KR head coach Willie Peters told BBC Sport:

"I'm proud of everyone involved in our club. I'm happy for our owner Neil Hudgell and the people of Hull. We had a responsibility for more than our local community, it was for Super League and the British game and we did them proud.

"There's moments in the game when we didn't kick for touch and I thought like it might not happen for us. But then we defended it and then we were alright off the back of that.

"It's more about hope and hold on but then it was about working for each other and that's what they did. When they got one or two [tries] I knew they'd get another one. We found some grit when we needed to."

  3. 'I'm pretty blessed to be a part of this team'published at 21:51 GMT 19 February

    FT: Hull KR 30-24 Brisbane

Hull KR's Tom Amone speaking to BBC Sport:

"It was probably not a good performance from me in the second half, but I'll take that win any day, it was pretty fast and I just enjoyed it.

"It was actually pretty crazy, I came here to win more trophies, I'm pretty blessed to be a part of this team.

"I was pulling my hair, it all started from that inside shoulder that I let in, but I'll worry about that after, I enjoyed the night.

"It's a good club here, they fixed me up and I'm pretty excited to get to Vegas, hopefully it's another win."

  4. 'We put pressure on ourselves'published at 21:46 GMT 19 February

    FT: Hull KR 30-24 Brisbane

Brisbane Broncos boss Michael Maguire told BBC Sport:

"They came out quick and fast and we made some errors in the first part of the game and put pressure on ourselves.

"We conceded some soft tries but you've got to respect everything in the game. It's a good wake up call and a realisation of what this game demands.

"You have a moment off and all of a sudden you get beaten.

"It's a good lesson. You're learning all the time. You have to make sure you're on your game."

  5. 'We scrambled together'published at 21:43 GMT 19 February

    FT: Hull KR 30-24 Brisbane

Hull KR's Jez Litten told BBC Sport:

"I just can't put it into words, the boys have turned up against a team like Brisbane, we knew we had a big job on our hands and just scrambled together and got the win.

"I've been off all week ill, I've been having nightmares about Reece Walsh running at me, and they all came true tonight. When you've got someone like him coming out the back, credit to the boys who were helping me out.

[On the fans] "I think they just took over tonight, they were unreal, but all the other Super League supporters who have come out and supported us, we wanted to do the English game proud and we spoke about that.

"We obviously get a lot of stick off the Aussies but it's good to get one over them tonight"

  7. 'We got it done by any means necessary'published at 21:37 GMT 19 February

    FT: Hull KR 30-24 Brisbane

Hull KR captain Elliot Minchella told BBC Sport:

"We spoke at half-time that they were going to have a say in that game.

"They tested us, we just got it done by any means necessary, it wasn't pretty.

"There was talk about lots of technical stuff that we didn't do so well but we scrambled for each other, we had grit.

"We were tested at times but we got over the line.

"We thought we were in a good position but these are a good team, if you think that for one moment that we already won then they burn you. They had a 20-25 minute period where they were on top but we stuck together and got over the line.

[On last season] "You're starting the year thinking about last year, but we're so pleased. We spoke about the grit we had last year and all the tough defensive performances we had last year, that helped us tonight.

"It wasn't great but thankfully we came away on the right side of the score."

That's the quadruple for Hull KR, albeit over two seasons. Wigan did it in 2024 all in one campaign.

But the Robins join Bradford in 2003-04 and 2006-07 to win the treble in one season and follow it up with the World Club Challenge the following year.

It's also the third successive win for a Super League side in the competition after St Helens in 2023 and Wigan in 2024.

That’s why I love this game, what an awesome game, HKR and Brisbane should be proud of this performance. But I’m absolutely delighted with the British champions HKR, well deserved. From a Widnes Vikings fan and a born Lancashire lad.

Just over a minute and a half to go and Brisbane kick the ball dead in a last-ditch race to the line.

Hull just need to keep the mistakes at bay, run the clock down and not do anything daft.

We thought they were down and out, but it's an incredible response from the Broncos.

It's another mistake in the Hull defence.

Physically they look faster and more powerful, it's incredible that they're in this position.
