Hull FC will be without forward Jed Cartwright for around three months after he suffered a hamstring tear, while winger Harvey Barron will miss the next month with an ankle injury.
Cartwright and Barron both came off during their narrow 17-16 defeat by newcomers York Knights at the end of February.
It has been an injury-afflicted start to the campaign for Hull FC, who also lost Ryan Westerman to an ankle injury in pre-season.
Meanwhile, Will Pryce and Joe Ward have undergone surgery on their respective ACL injuries which have ruled them out for the rest of the campaign, with Roman Dawson returning to training having suffered a serious knee injury last season.
Herman Ese'ese "continues to progress well" with his recovery, the club said, after the prop injured his Achilles at the tail end of 2025.
