Castleford forward Matt Cook has signed a one-year contract extension to stay with the Super League side until 2018, with a club option for a further year.
Cook made 29 appearances for Tigers in 2016 to help them finish fifth in Super League at the end of the Super 8s.
The 29-year-old signed from London ahead of the 2015 season, having also played for Bradford and Hull KR.

"It feels really good to get my new deal nailed down. It's been a tough year for the boys with all the injuries but to finish fifth was great for us."
