Cookey won five Superleague titles with Team Bath
England captain Pamela Cookey has left Team Bath to join Superleague rivals Surrey Storm for the 2015 campaign.
The 30-year-old shooter had a spell with Storm in 2012 but has spent the majority of her career at Bath, winning five league titles with the club.
Cookey is in recovery after suffering an Achilles injury at the end of last season, which forced her to miss this summer's Commonwealth Games.
"It's a massive year for me coming back from injury," she said.
"I feel I needed a new challenge, which I think Surrey Storm will provide in a different environment.
"I am excited to see what I can contribute to the Storm attacking unit and hopefully help create the edge to push Storm over the line to take the title."

Surrey player-coach, and Cookey's former England team-mate, Tamsin Greenway added: "We're looking to build on last year's great performances and I'm thrilled that we've managed to acquire the best goal attack in the country.
"To play and train alongside the England captain is a fantastic opportunity for the players and the club. I'm sure the fans will be as excited as we are to see what we can produce on court this season."
Surrey Storm were unbeaten during this year's regular Superleague season but missed out on the title after losing 49-48 to Manchester Thunder in a dramatic grand final.
