Isle of Man TT record holder Michael Dunlop says he has proven he is still a "force to be reckoned with" after a successful 2025.

Dunlop extended his record number of victories at the TT to 33 after four wins at the iconic road race in 2025.

The 36-year-old also won three races at the North West 200 - his first victories at the event since 2016 - and he also had success at the Tandragee 100, Cookstown 100 and Southern 100.

On top of his racing success, Dunlop was appointed appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in recognition of his achievements in motorsport.

"My year was successful and there was a lot of big highs," said Dunlop, who said it was "lovely" to return to form at the North West 200.

"This year we've proven again that we're a force to be reckoned with.

"To go this year and be so competitive, it was nice to do it."

Dunlop said he was "looking to do more and achieve more" in 2026 as he prepares to back up a successful year.

"We were successful everywhere we went this year, but when you are the top you have to fight even harder," the Northern Ireland rider added.

"We want to go again and be bigger and better."

After being named in the King's birthday honours list, Dunlop says it was a "bit surreal" to collect his MBE from King Charles at Windsor Castle in November.

Prince William has previously visited the Isle of Man TT and Dunlop joked that the King was "obviously well enough prepped".

"It was nice that he knew about my family name and what we were about, which was an honour.

"It was a different experience and lifestyle to what I'm used to, you could probably tell by the way I was dressed that I wasn't used to that sort of occasion.

"It was a nice thing to add to my list of achievements. It was quite cool. He definitely knew a bit about the racing."
