Paddy "The Baddy" Pimblett will meet Justin Gaethje in the octagon at UFC 324 as the pair fight for the interim lightweight title in Las Vegas.

Gaethje, 37, who goes into the fight admitting he is the underdog, despite winning 26 of his 31 fights since 2011.

However, the American is coming into the fight against the Liverpool-born fighter off the back of three defeats in his last seven UFC bouts.

Pimblett, 31, boasts an impressive record having an unblemished record in UFC and having won 23 out of 26 bouts since making his MMA debut in 2012.

Pimblett grew up in the Merseyside town of Huyton and began MMA training at the age 15, earning the nickname 'The Baddy' from his coach.

The boyhood Liverpool fan made his professional debut just two years later at the age of 17, before signing with Cage Warriors a year later and claiming his first featherweight title aged 21.

Pimblett switched to the lightweight class in 2017 aged 22 before signing a deal with the UFC in 2021.

He has since remained undefeated in the championship, gaining a large following on social media and becoming one of the most recognisable faces in the sport.
