Quote MessageIreland were worthy winners. They dominated possession, they dominated territory and they dominated set-piece. They just played a clever game. Italy didn't use the wind to their advantage in the first half but all credit goes to Ireland, this was a big win for them,

Quote MessageThis has been better game management from Ireland than in their first two matches. They are playing the ball in the right areas. It's a new, fresh Irish side but they still want and need to get results.

Ireland 10-3 Italy
That's a pretty good first half for Ireland after falling behind to that early penalty.
They have been measured in their response and have looked threatening - and will no doubt feel they should have another five points on the board after Amee-Leigh Murphy Crowe's try was disallowed.
It means that tries from full-back Lucy Mulhall and hooker Neve Jones have Greg McWilliams' side 10-3 ahead at the break as they search for their first win of this Six Nations campaign.
