Bath confirmed a Premiership play-off place after an enthralling game at Harlequins that saw the lead change hands eight times.

Quins winger Ugo Monye, on his final home appearance, crossed early on but Francis Louw responded for Bath.

A penalty try gave Quins a 15-10 lead at the break, but Horacio Agulla and Leroy Houston touched down in response.

Monye crossed for his second try in the corner before England fly-half George Ford's late penalty won it.

Bath head coach Mike Ford tells BT Sport: "We go into the final game of the season knowing if we win we're guaranteed second spot, so we're in a good place."

Bath head coach Mike Ford tells BT Sport: "I don't think we were that great tonight. But the Premiership is a tough place, you can't go out and expect it to go all your way over the 80 minutes.

"I thought Quins tonight, under the circumstances and adversity, were brilliant."

Harlequins winger Ugo Monye tells BT Sport: "During your last couple of weeks you take stock and you realise what a privileged life we lead. It's an unbelievable feeling to go to work with your best mates every day."

Harlequins winger Ugo Monye tells BT Sport: "It's all a bit hard to digest at the moment. It's hard to finish off without a win - it's all I really wanted. It's a bit bittersweet."

  8. Postpublished at 21:41 BST 8 May 2015

Bath forward Leroy Houston tells BT Sport: "We've got great players in great positions, like George Ford and Kyle Eastmond, and they like to calm it down when it needs calming down.

"We just need to take it week by week. We've got a big game against Gloucester next week and we'll take it from there."

  9. Postpublished at 21:38 BST 8 May 2015

Bath forward Leroy Houston tells BT Sport: "It's huge. Especially missing out last year on the same ground. It's good to come back and get a victory against a great team.

"We dug ourselves in a hole a bit, but we showed some character at the end to come back."

The visitors' pack holds firm though, and they get the ball out of play to prompt the referee's final whistle. Bath survive.

  11. Postpublished at 21:32 BST 8 May 2015

It's another knock-on, however, this time from Bath, meaning Harlequins will put-in at the scrum. It's deep, deep inside their own half, but as the clock turns red they may have one last crack at this...

  12. Postpublished at 21:31 BST 8 May 2015

It comes down again, but this time it's the fault of Harlequins and it'll be a penalty for the away side. George Ford heads for touch.

  13. Postpublished at 21:30 BST 8 May 2015

The first one comes down, so it'll be reset. Bath have the put-in, and Harlequins desperately need to steal it.

  14. Postpublished at 21:29 BST 8 May 2015

Can Harlequins summon one last push to rescue the match? We'll have a scrum on halfway after a knock-on.

And George Ford keeps his composure to slot the penalty from a fair way out. Advantage Bath. Again.

  16. Postpublished at 21:25 BST 8 May 2015

Territory really is key at this stage. Harlequins are the latest side to give away a penalty from their own line-out, which George Ford pumps out of play.

And, from the very next line-out, it's another infringement from the home side! Ford looks like he'll have a go at goal here...

  17. Postpublished at 21:22 BST 8 May 2015

Former Bath prop David Barnes on BBC Radio Bristol: "Interestingly, in that last line-out Bath missed a lift. Is there a little bit of panic? They look like they're rushing things a bit. Quins are on the front foot and this crowd is giving them some momentum."

  18. Postpublished at 21:22 BST 8 May 2015

But they're not on the attack for long, as Matt Banahan then gives away a penalty and it's Nick Evans' turn to fire a kick into touch for Harlequins.

So we're marching into the final 10 minutes. Jack Clifford infringes at the base of a ruck and allows George Ford to send the ball into touch. Bath on the attack.

What a reception! The retiring Ugo Monye is coming off now, and it looks an emotional goodbye for the ex-England wing.

Two tries on his last match at The Stoop - he'll be hoping they'll prove to be the difference.
