Well that's your lot after a double-header of live text commentaries from Headingley.

Castleford Tigers spoiled the Super League arrival party of Toronto Wolfpack and Sonny Bill Williams with a fairly comfortable win before Leeds Rhinos' attempt at a fresh start was kicked into the long grass by a rampant Hull FC.

It was the day Sonny Bill arrived in Super League, but it wasn't really the day he arrived. It's a long season though, I'm sure he'll have his time.

Thanks for reading - we'll be back with more Super League on Thursday night when Warrington face champions St Helens.

Hull full-back Jamie Shaul told Sky Sports: "We've worked really hard in the off-season, you put in all that graft and long days so to get that first win is massive for us.

"We've signed well and our forward pack is pretty scary."

    FT: Leeds 4-30 Hull

Leeds half-back Luke Gale has been speaking to Sky Sports after a long-awaited debut for his boyhood club didn't go to plan.

"It was disappointing, but I've been around a long time and we'll move on quickly.

"We'll dust ourselves down and go again it's round one. They scored two breakaway tries and we never really recovered.

"There's plenty of improvement in us, we're a young side. It's a long season."

There's the hooter. It's an emphatic win for Hull FC and they've shown Leeds just how much work there still is to do.

Wow that was impressive from Lee Radford's side. They've totally demolished the Rhinos.

    Jamie Shaul, Marc Sneyd goal

As if by magic! Jamie Shaul so deserves to get on the scoresheet.

Andre Savelio, another standout player for the Black and Whites, creates this try. Leeds give him so much space because they're frightened to commit.

All that does is give him more time to pick the perfect line, wait for Shaul to get onto his shoulder, and send him under the posts.

Marc Sneyd takes Hull to 30.

    Leeds 4-24 Hull

Jamie Shaul has been incredible for Hull this evening. His decision making with ball in hand has been superb, but the most eye-catching stuff has been how elusive the full-back's been.

He just ran back to pick up a tricky, bobbling ball, turned and wriggled his way past three Leeds shirts. Quicksilver stuff.

  7. NO TRYpublished at 75 mins

    Leeds 4-24 Hull

Not given though, as the video referee makes a quick decision to agree with the on-field call as it was a close one. Hardly going to make a difference is it?

Manu Ma'u might have just stuck the cherry on top for Hull FC.

Leeds are now defending their third successive set of six. Hull have had them penned in there for five minutes - ever since that try was ruled out. Superb game management.

  10. NO TRYpublished at 69 mins

    Leeds 4-24 Hull

So, so close for Ash Handley. It's a fabulous acrobatic effort but it's a fraction of a second that costs him as his knee is just touching the touchline when he grounds the ball.

Full credit to Hull wing Ratu Naulago who just did enough to push him sideways and prevent the score. Great way to show you can also defend as well as score two predatory tries.

  11. TRY REVIEWpublished at 69 mins

    Leeds 4-24 Hull

It could be a second try for Ash Handley. Is the Leeds wing in touch though?

On field decision is a try...

    Leeds 4-24 Hull

The Headingley pitch is beginning to resemble a ploughed field. That's what a double-header, and also being home to a rugby union team can do.

Oh and the horrendous torrential rain doesn't help either does it.

TRY: Leeds 4-24 Hullpublished at 63 mins

    Ash Handley

Leeds didn't look as if they would break Hull down - they're handed a bit of luck and take full advantage. Carlos Tuimavave is penalised for an incorrect play-the-ball, but on second viewing it looks perfectly fine.

Direct from the scrum, it's Luke Gale to Jack Walker, to Ash Handley out wide, who runs in unopposed to touch down in the corner.

Rhyse Martin drags the goal wide, but only just. Surely it's way too much for Leeds to do in 15 minutes?

This is getting embarrassing for the eight-time Super League champions.

Rhinos coach Richard Agar is going to be under huge pressure right from the off.

    Ratu Naulago

    Leeds are being utterly humbled.

Hull have totally controlled the match since the break, just keeping Leeds on their own line and taking no risks. They decide they'll go for the try on this occasion and it comes off.

Jamie Shaul and Jake Connor are again incredible in the link-up play, Shaul ultimately throws the flat pass wide to Ratu Naulago who runs on to it at full pace to slide in to the corner for his second try.

Marc Sneyd misses the two in difficult kicking conditions, it must be said.

Joe, remember when you said at the start of the day it is "GLORIOUS" weather at Headingley?

Well it is absolutely lashing it down now.

Those away fans in the western terrace are getting a right old battering from the rain that has swept in.

Great minds and all that Sham - I JUST beat you to it.

    Leeds 0-20 Hull

I'm a bit late to telling you this, which is basically me admitting that I'm bad at my job. Anyway, the weather has turned awful at Headingley - it's chucking it down.

This is suiting Hull down to the ground as they pin Leeds in.

  18. PENALTY: Leeds 0-20 Hullpublished at 52 mins

    Marc Sneyd goal

Leeds are penalised for being offside on their goal line.

That's the easiest goal Marc Sneyd will ever kick and it's a 20-point lead.

    Leeds 0-18 Hull

How vital could this intervention be? Ratu Naulago's eyes light up, he's waiting to catch a pass and touch down for what should be an easy score.

But Leeds wing Ash Handley gets a finger tip on the pass to prevent him from doing so, and just about keep the Rhinos in this.

    Just about.

By the way, Leeds have no Konrad Hurrell on the field after he failed a head injury assessment. James Donaldson is on his place. The Tongan went off just before half-time and is now watching from the sidelines.

The Rhinos simply haven't got going without him since the break.
