    So Saints and Hull FC enjoy the derby spoils in our feature games, while there were also impressive wins for Salford and Leeds.

    Easter is always a tough period, and it will be interesting to see how many of the teams can back up their success when they go into Monday's games.

    I'm made up with my first hat-trick. We played the game right, we were clinical, we had chances and we took them. The middles made an outstanding effort, I was blowing on the wing. Both teams went all out, every break, everyone was on their hands and knees and sucking air in.

    Wigan 10-36 St Helens

    St Helens go marching on at the top of Super League with a thoroughly convincing success against bitter rivals Wigan.

    High-class rugby league produced three tries for Regan Grace to add to scores from Tommy Makinson, James Roby and Lachlan Coote.

    Wigan showed flickers of class, with Zak Hardaker and George Williams running in scores, but they were well-beaten.

    The only concerns are injuries to Tom Davies and Jake Shorrocks for Wigan, and Mark Percival for Saints.

    Good Friday has been a great one for the Saints.

    This is actually a very sad end to a day of high-quality rugby league.

    Adrian Lam's face is unwavering, his mind no doubt racing with thoughts of this defeat but most likely, the concern for his player.

    There's plenty of gentle care for Jake Shorrocks, who is eventually placed on the stretcher and withdrawn, to respectful applause.

    Leeds Rhinos move off the bottom of the table with victory over Yorkshire rivals Huddersfield.

    There are no whoops and hollers on the Saints bench, Justin Holbrook actually looks pretty concerned about the injury to Jake Shorrocks.

    He looks like he's got a neck brace being applied.

    Saints fans are in party mode, but there are a fair few empty seats among the Wigan contingent as some fancy spending their Good Friday in happier surroundings.

    Then Saints are pinged after a not-so-well-executed shoulder-led tackle from Dom Peyroux which leaves Jake Shorrocks strewn on the turf.

    Painful and there is concern for the medical staff.

    It's been a real bruiser this.

    Its shaping up to be a not so good Good Friday for Warrington, as that defeat is about to leave them four points adrift of Super League leaders St Helens...

    It's fair to say, a few Wigan players look defeated.

    Luke Thompson looked to swoop on a loose kick but knocked on, so Wigan do get a scrum.

    Two-and-a-half to go. Game in the bag.

    Lachlan Coote cut through with another line-break and had the options flooding in support. Picked Jonny Lomax, who was tackled. Saints so close to a 40-point score.

    If it weren't so comfortable, he might have copped some stick for that.

    Saints got a penalty for holding, but the subsequent set ends with a knock-on close to the line.

    Seven and a half to go. The frustrations are getting to Wigan, as Jonny Lomax and Zak Hardaker engage in a bit of verbal and slappery on the far side.

    Wigan get to tackle five, a couple of metres out, and the ball is spilled. Sums up their afternoon. Taulima Tautai could not draw the pill in.

    Kick went up and Lachlan Coote chased down Zak Hardaker, swooped and pinched the ball from his opposite number.

    Once again, Wigan dish the ball up, and Saints take full advantage.

    Ball was whipped out to the left edge, Zeb Taia buccaneering forward, and he found a pass to Grace.

    He shrugged off a tackle, saw it open up and scored. Stunning finish.

    Wigan have a mountain to climb now.
