  1. Same time next summer?published at 17:36 BST 2 September 2018

There we have it then. You probably called it at the start of the summer, but I'll tell you again anyway, Dublin are the All-Ireland champions.

They adapted after falling behind early and then they never looked back. To call a spade a spade, no other side has even gotten close to them in the Championship this year.

    Not even close.

Congratulations Dublin, worthy winners they are.

Tyrone were unable to kick on from their good start and their heads dropped after the disappointment of conceding that controversial penalty. Their kick-outs weren't the right options and Dublin were able to turn Tyrone over, break at pace and put points on the board consistently. Their success is down to their game management, how they controlled the game after those initial 20 minutes.

  5. Four in a rowpublished at 17:15 BST 2 September 2018

    Dublin 2-17 Tyrone 1-14

Dublin are, unquestionably, the best team in the land.

Tyrone gave them a good run for their money today and went toe-to-toe especially in the second half. It was the latter part of the first period in which the Dubs flipped a four point deficit into a seven point lead that told in the end.

The Red Hands gave a good account of themselves, but let's be honest: Dublin are different class.

    Dublin 2-16 Tyrone 1-14

Padraig Hampsey tries to launch the ball into the square and it actually carries all the way over the bar.

He didn't mean that, but he has been outstanding today. Probably Tyrone's stand-out performer.

Ciaran Kilkenny keeps it ticking over at the other end with a quick reply.

The frustrating thing is that Tyrone have had maybe four clearcut chances for scores in the last wee while but haven't taken them because of a lack of composure. It's all about fine margins. Dublin are still a bit shaky at the back and I feel Tyrone have another goal in them, even at this late stage.

Tyrone going for broke and Kevin McMenamin points for Dublin in acres of space.

With eight minutes do go Dublin lead by eight as Dean Rock knocks over his fourth free.

Looks very much at this stage that it's going to be four-in-a-row for the Dubs, and not a soul can say that they don't deserve it.

Dublin are using all their experience and showing great composure on the ball. Their players are mostly taking the right options and they are fully worthy of their seven-point lead.

    Dublin 2-13 Tyrone 0-12

Padraig Hampsey wins a free inside the D. Lee Brennan places it on the deck and puts it over.

Back to seven. A worry for Tyrone now though is how easily Cluxton is finding his men at the kick-outs.

    Dublin 2-13 Tyrone 0-11

    John Haughey

Dublin are happy to play keep ball now. With an eight-point lead, they can take their time to create openings and those tactics have the added advantage of running down the clock.

Cormac Costello, just introduced, nearly ends the game by weaving through and smashing a shot off the post. A 45 is given and Dean Rock duly obliges with a point.

  20. Dubs playing possessionpublished at 16:48 BST 2 September 2018

    Dublin 2-12 Tyrone 0-11

Dublin start playing a bit of keep ball and the crowd goes quiet.

Not that the Dubs fans will mind too much. Especially when after a long spell of possession, Brian Fenton scores a point.
