Being the best in the world is an emotional thing.

The Silver Ferns do a 360 turn so they can take in the whole arena.

That is how the New Zealand team are introduced to the Liverpool crowd. And the fans LOVE it. Wild screams.

The Australia fans in the crowd cheer on their side as they step onto the podium holding hands.

That was a painful final defeat, but Caitlin Bassett smiles as she's given her silverware.

Third is better than fourth and England really reset their focus after their loss by New Zealand. They wanted gold but it was just not to be for them. They've handled themselves beautifully. What a way for Tracey Neville and a few senior players to go out.
