Brighton manager Roberto de Zerbi to BBC Match of the Day: "I think we deserved to win, but we played against a very good team. If we analyse the performance I think we played better than Wolves.

"We played with more patterns, we moved the ball faster, we conceded two counter-attacks after we lost the ball [after half-time].

"We knew before the game the level of difficulty. It's a good point, but we are disappointed because we created more chances to win the game."

On James Milner: "Amazing player, amazing guy. I'm very lucky because I have a great group of players and I think we are playing better than last season. We are doing something historic and I'm proud for my players."

On going nine games unbeaten at home: "I think we are playing without a lot of important players, especially in attack. We are suffering a lot for it but anyway we have to be proud because we are keeping the same level as last season."

    Wolves

Wolves manager Gary O'Neil to BBC Match of the Day: "There were a lot of chances in the game, we came here knowing that would be the case. We tried to be aggressive and give ourselves an opportunity to get in good positions.

"We took a few more risks today and on another day we'd take our chances. I'm pleased with the performance, just disappointed we weren't able to score, because we did enough to score tonight.

"They are the best team in the league in finding the spare man in possession if you leave them one. We went man-for-man knowing if we won the ball back we'd leave Cunha and Neto with their two centre-backs and those two in a two-v-two can be quite a handful.

"It nearly worked, they had some great opportunities and they've been incredible for us this season. Just the final touch was slightly off.

"We know how tough the Premier League is so things can change very quickly. We're in a tough spot, but we know how fragile it can be. We have to keep pushing.

"We can start to look to Sunday, there's been a lot of noise on it from the outside."

Some real drama in the Afcon tonight - as Mozambique scored twice in second-half stoppage time to almost certainly send Ghana crashing out of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations at the group stage.

Ghana were 2-0 up going into added time thanks to a brace from Crystal Palace man Jordan Ayew but somehow gave away two penalties!

Wolves manager Gary O'Neil, speaking to TNT Sports after the game: "I think the lads gave everything. The way the team approached it and how they stuck to the game plan, of course I wanted us to score, we created some huge opportunities but unfortunately we couldn't take them - it's a really good point though.

"When I spoke to you before the game I said we were going to be aggressive, Pedro Neto and Matheus Cunha being high up the pitch worked really well and we cannot criticise them too much with the numbers they have provided so far.

"That was the main reason we were so aggressive. I came here with Bournemouth and gave up a lot of territory. In the end I think it was a fair result, we will take a point and move on."

On Pedro Neto: "I thought he was good - we have been careful with him, I thought there was a goal in him. At 75 minutes we should have brought him off but there were some real good chances."

On positon in the table: "We are pleased with the spot we are in, when I came in I was tasked with keeping the team in the league.

"We are a small group and the aim is to stay up and we are on track. Everyone is in a good spot but it can change quickly."

Brighton manager Roberto de Zerbi to TNT Sports: "I am disappointed by the result, I think we deserved to win. But Wolves are a very good team with good players, especially in attack, we have a big respect for them.

"We deserved to win, we played a good game and made one, two mistakes in the first half where we could score. I think we played very well.

"We have to adapt depending on the players. Without Mitoma or Enciso or Fati or Adingra or March we can't play with wingers and we have to change the tactical position on the pitch. We have to find a different solution.

"The transfer market is not my business, my business is to organise my players. I think we played well. [On signings], you'll have to ask the club.

"We have the target to be in the top 10. I think we are doing very well, I think we are happy."

Wolves forward Pedro Neto to TNT Sports: "It's very hard to play against these guys, they are so organised. They had control of the game but we had counter-attacks, it's a good point.

"The mentality has changed. The way we are playing, we always want more. We came here, worked a lot and we could have won.

"I have been waiting for this start for a long time, I have had to be patient, I always want to play. I am proud of this team."

Brighton midfielder James Milner to TNT Sports: "We didn't create enough in the final third, we had plenty of the ball but it's disappointing. We couldn't create a clear-cut chance but sometimes it is that way. The spark wasn't there.

"We weren't sharp in front of goal. A clean sheet is important and with the firepower we have up front we normally get on the scoresheet. Clean sheets are good habits to get into.

"The game is the biggest thing toinght, games wise I've hopefully got a few more in me. I've had some luck, I've worked hard and you have to enjoy it to put the work in every day. I've been fortunate to play for some great clubs."
