A reminder that Leicester claimed a comprehensive - and hugely important - win over Liverpool in the early kick-off.

Deflected strikes from Josie Green and Carrie Jones put them 2-0 up in the first half.

Ashleigh Plumptre headed in the third just after the break and Missy Goodwin completed the scoring in stoppage time.

A point apiece then. That leaves Tottenham in ninth, three points clear of bottom side Reading.

Brighton, who might feel they deserved to take all three points, remain 11th and only two off the drop zone.

Brighton looked like they might just nick in the final seconds as Katie Robinson burst into the Tottenham box.

She gets to the byline but can't pick out a team-mate with the cut-back.

A frantic end to an exciting game (think we can all choose to ignore the last 20 minutes of the first half).

A minute left and Brighton look the more likely if either side are going to snatch a dramatic late winner.

Guro Bergsvand meets the third corner but heads well over the bar. Tottenham can breathe again.

Three corners in a row for Brighton but they want a penalty for handball when the previous set play was sent to the back post.

Brighton clear the corner and a brilliant touch from Katie Robinson sets the visitors off on the counter-attack.

She bursts through the middle and suddenly, Brighton have a two-on-one situation.

Robinson's pass is just behind Lee Geum-Min, though, and Tottenham are able to get players back to avert the danger.

This is breathless stuff!

Tottenham get the free-kick away and Jess Naz is driving them forward again.

The ball comes out to Kerys Harrop and her high, hanging cross is pushed behind by Lydia Williams.

Brighton were so comfortable at 2-1 and looked in control.

Since the equaliser they've been clinging on for dear life.

Attack may be the best form of defence for them. So it proves as they go forward and win a free-kick after 30 yards out...

It should be 3-2!

Tottenham have another corner and it comes to Ashleigh Neville, unmarked inside the six-yard box, but she heads over.

BIG chance.

Very interesting call from Vicky Jepson as she takes off two-goal star Beth England.

Ria Percival replaces her and gets a great ovation on her return after injury.

I'm still not sure about taking England off when you need a goal, though...

Another chance for Spurs! Kit Graham cuts inside the defender on the edge of the box and gets a left-foot shot away.

It's well struck but Lydia Williams gets down well to make the save.

Another sweeping Brighton move sees Sarri's shot blocked before Emma Kullberg drills in a shot from distance.

It's on target but it's not troubling Rebecca Spencer.

Danger for Tottenham as Brighton come forward again.

There is a bit of panic in the penalty area but between them Molly Bartrip and Kerys Harrop get the ball clear.

Katie Robinson does then get a shot away but it's easily held by Rebecca Spencer.

As it stands, Brighton would jump above Tottenham and Leicester into ninth. Crucially, four points above Reading in the one and only relegation place.

Spurs would stay just two above the drop zone.
