That is all from us after yet another exciting evening of action at both ends of the Irish Premiership table.

Larne continue to lead the way after a routine 3-0 victory over Dungannon Swifts, who remain in the relegation zone.

Behind them only on goal difference are Cliftonville, who recorded an equally convincing 3-0 home victory to set up an intriguing clash with the Inver side on Saturday.

Glentoran produced a statement result in the 'Big Two' derby, as they stormed to a 3-0 win over Linfield to further close the gap on the Blues and the other sides above them.

Coleraine will be wondering how they only won 1-0 against Newry City, with some poor finishing making the scoreline tighter than it should have been.

Nevertheless, the Bannsiders extended their lenghtily unbeaten run and moved up to fourth in the table after Crusaders' 2-2 draw with Glenavon.

A late Philip Lowry goal rescued a point for Stephen Baxter's men at Mourneview, where they trailed twice.

Carrick Rangers came out on top against Ballymena, as Nedas Macuiatis' first goal for the club sealed a narrow victory which moves them level on points with the Sky Blues.

Thanks for joining us this evening, you can read about all the action from this evening's round of fixtures here.
