So, the Gunners remain on course for a possible domestic double - and the WSL leaders are still in the Champions League too, taking on Wolfsburg in the quarter-final first leg on Wednesday.

For Coventry, meanwhile, Championship survival remains their priority after a season that saw them go so close to folding.

Arsenal cruise through to the semi-finals as Coventry's FA Cup run comes to an end in the quarter-finals.

The Championship side defended doggedly in the first half but were finally undone by Stina Blackstenius' header seven minutes before the interval.

Quickfire strikes from Beth Mead and Nikita Parris around the hour mark put the result beyond doubt before Vivianne Miedema put the icing on the cake.

Vivianne Miedema has the taste for it now.

    Vivianne Miedema (77 mins)

    Dutch destroyer.

That's 19 goals for the season for Vivianne Miedema.

No wonder Arsenal are so keen to keep her, with rumours abounding of a summer departure.

She lets fly from 20 yards with an unerring finish inside Lucy Thomas' near post. Coventry want the whistle now.

    Arsenal 3-0 Coventry United

Almost a matter of when, not if, Arsenal get a fourth.

Lovely move sees Vivianne Miedema slide in Beth Mead, she pulls back for Caitlin Foord who is denied by Coventry keeper Lucy Thomas and Lia Walti fires the rebound wide.

    Arsenal 3-0 Coventry United

You suspect Coventry might declare here if they could.

They have put in a brave effort to stay in this game for so long but those two quickfire second-half Arsenal goals have finished them off.

Fresh legs needed to stave off any more Gunners goals - Mollie Green and Alanah Mann off as Naomi Hartley and Fran Orthodoxou come on.

  14. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 67 mins

    Arsenal 3-0 Coventry United

Good news for Coventry as Arsenal sub off Nikita Parris.

Bad news for Coventry. All-time leading WSL goalscorer Vivianne Miedema replaces her.

    That's cruel.

It's almost four as Caitlin Foord performs a wonderful turn to control a pass 20 yards out and drills in a low shot that goes inches wide.

Nikita Parris then side-foots just over from the edge of the box. Coventry are being bombarded.

The answer to that question is yes.

Not long after Frida Maanum goes close from the edge of the box, Arsenal are on the attack again.

Maanum returns a cross into the box and there's England forward Beth Mead slamming home a fine finish with her first touch since coming off the bench.

Coventry keeper Lucy Thomas gets something on it but can't keep it out - too hot to handle.
