Wolves

Wolves boss Bruno Lage, speaking to Match of the Day: "When you look for the game, both teams played well, that is the thing we need to say. We started better in the first 20 minutes and after West Ham came.

"We continued to play our way, the way we conceded the goal is disappointing, but in the end of February, we have 12 or 13 games and our goal is to continue in the same way that we played here against this tough team.

"When you look for the game, the way we played against a strong team and a manger with experience away from home - in the middle of February, we have 40 points, we put our fans to dream about the Champions League.

"The next three months we need to continue to play the same way, grow up and fight for every point until the end of the season."

Wolves have lost three of their last five Premier League games (W2), as many as they had in their previous 16 combined (W9 D4 L3).

Bruno Lage's side have failed to score for the 12thtime in the Premier League this season, with only bottom two sides Norwich (16) and Watford (13) doing so more often.

West Ham United

West Ham boss David Moyes, speaking to Match of the Day: "We created a lot of opportunities, could have goe two or three up at one point. Wolves don't concede many goals.

"He (MIchail Antonio) was really good, he got himself more chances and the goalkeeper made a good save from him in the first half. I thought he did a good job for the team."

On Tomas Soucek: "His standards have been set so high, he has hardly put a foot wrong, he is a great lad to have around your team."

West Ham have scored in each of their last 15 Premier League home games, their joint-longest such run in the competition’s history (also 15 between September and April last season).

Only Mohamed Salah (10) has provided more assists from open play in the Premier League this season than West Ham’s Michail Antonio (7).

West Ham’s Michail Antonio has been directly involved in 15 Premier League goals this season (8 goals, 7 assists), his joint-best return in a single campaign in the competition (10 goals, 5 assists in 2020-21).

Tomas Soucek (27 today) became just the second West Ham player to score a Premier League goal on his birthday, after Ricardo Vaz Tê against Queens Park Rangers in October 2012.

"He has supported me since my childhood and he is 80 in one week, so this goal is for him! He wanted to come but couldnt because of Covid, now finally he is here."

Today was him back to his best, working for the team and scoring a great goal."

On his effort that hit the post: "I have been trying in training to shoot more often and their midfielders kept dropping into their box, I tried to use (Ruben) Neves' body to set it outside him, hopefully one of those goes in soon.

"I feel much more comfortable, I have gorwn into the midfield role, adding goals is a nice feeling but my job is also to defend, I don't mind sitting back and three or four for the season, I don't mind it."

On West Ham's pre-match tribute to Ukrainian player Andriy Yarmolenko: "It is so important, for me and for the team, the club and everyone to support Yarmo - the day it started we saw him at the training ground and he was in bits, we are there for him and the people of Ukraine.

"We are all with Yarma and the tap on the shirt gave it good luck. He has some family in Ukraine at the minute so is going through some tough times, he sent us a message in the group chat before the game saying 'good luck boys'."

David Moyes realises this is a big result. It was tense all around us; the celebrations were a big sigh of relief. The supporters were urging their team to get out [of defence]. Wolves forced them all the way; on the counter they looked dangerous once Wolves opened up. It was a tough one; Zouma got some blocks in, Fabianski's collection was great and Antonio, as expected, did really well.

West Ham are defending well here, Wolves look a little void of ideas to break them down. We're into the 90th minute.

Oooh. That's the first time Lukasz Fabianski has really been tested and it comes from a long-range Ruben Neves effort. The Wolves midfielder can hit them, but Fabianski is comfortably behind that one.

Raul Jimenez tries a back heel but can only find a West Ham defender, the hosts have allowed them very little this afternoon.

Wolves work it nicely on the edge of the area but resort to laying one off for Conor Coady to strike from about 30 yards. David Moyes won't mind that.
