A good win for Emma Hayes and Chelsea. Brighton suffer back-to-back league defeats.

Bethany England tries to find Pernille Harder as Chelsea break down the left but Maya Le Tissier gets a decent block in, then uses her strength to shove England off the ball and win a goal kick.

Excellent defending from the youngster.

Brighton have a corner on the right but instead of putting one in the box, they go short to Rinsola Babajide.

She gains a yard on the edge of the box but fires it miles over.

Jonna Andersson almost slides it through to Bethany England but Megan Walsh just about gets two hands on it and stops it from getting there.

Rinsola Babajide immediately links up with Ailen Whelan and it's moved over to the right nicely by Brighton.

Ellie Brazil then floats a cross in but it lands on top of the goal netting.

Danielle Carter is replaced by Rinsola Babajide for Brighton.

Fliss Gibbons has a go from long range but it's always rising. Chelsea are just running the clock down now.

You could see the joy on the Chelsea players' faces after that goal. They went straight over to Bethany England and celebrated as a team.

I think Emma Hayes is trying to protect her players now with those substitutions.

Pernille Harder sees Megan Walsh off her line as she moves across the edge of the box. She tries to chip her but snatches at it a little and skews it wide.

Megan Connolly played well today and worked her socks off. Now it's a chance for Ellie Brazil to use her pace and try to get in behind.

Sam Kerr is in! Sophie Ingle slides it through the two centre-backs but Kerr's touch is slightly too heavy and Megan Walsh comes charging out to clear it.

Ellie Brazil is on for Brighton. She replaces Megan Connolly.

Erin Cuthbert teases to take the free-kick but it's Melanie Leupolz who nips in and curls it quickly over the wall.

It's a decent effort but Megan Walsh reacts to palm it out to her right. Sam Kerr picks up the rebound but the angle is tight her snap shot is cleared in the six-yard area.

Chelsea have upped their game again after a really good 15 minutes from Brighton. Fliss Gibbons is chased down as she clear it down the line and possession is straight back with the hosts.

Fran Kirby is then brought down right on the edge of the box by Victoria Williams.
