Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta: "We created a lot of situations against the low block but lacked the final quality. We probably didn't do enough to win the game.

"We are playing a lot of games and you can see fatigue is paying a price, many players aren't fresh.

"We had a period that was fatugue related where we kept giving the ball away. We lacked the quaity in the final third to win the game."

Arsenal

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta to Sky Sports: "Some freshness and quality in the final third was missing. We had a lot of entries into the final third but no big, big chances.

"I wanted to see a win today and to score a few goals but we were fatigued. We gave the ball away, but I cannot fault the spirit. It wasn't enough.

"Kieran Tierney is a real threat and the way we attack on the left is really important but he is injured and we have to find a solution. He will have an MRI scan tomorrow.

"Roy Hodgson has done that all through his career, that is how they beat a lot of big teams. We had the plan we just didn't have the execution."

Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson: "I'm more than satisfied. A hard-working performance, we defended well and maybe with a bit more composure we could have scored a goal. We were playing a team in excellent form and we go away with a deserved 0-0.

"I thought the game was end-to-end and we are happy we took something away from the game.

"Two clean sheets in a row now. If you don't defend well it is going to be hard to win games."

Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson to Sky Sports: "I am more than satisifed with everything. We created opportunities and in the second half we wasted positions on the break.

"We defended excellently and I am very proud of them.

"Eze works hard on his free-kicks, it was a good chance for us and if you have someone who can deliver the ball like that it's worth its weight in gold for you.

"We are getting back to where we want to be."

Arsenal

Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin: "They defended well with loads of players and we tried to break them down. That little spark, that bit of creativity was missing today.

"We can't fault the team for effort, we tried hard but we didn't have that luck that we needed. They knew what they were coming here for and they take a point.

"There was no space to play in behind them, sometimes you need one moment to open the scoring and then you get that space.

"Bernd Leno is a great goalkeeper and he shows that every single game. We are happy with a clean sheet - in that sense we are improving."

Stacy: These 2 got to be the most boring clubs in the Prem! Thank god its not on pay per view and people didn't pay £15 for it. Utter dross.

Matty AFC: That was genuinely one of the most boring games of football I have ever watched.

Steve in Milan: Zaha has had his chance at a bit bigger club but until he becomes a team player he won't be sought elsewhere.

Jon Spurling: Crystal Palace have fielded virtually the same team and played in the same way against us 5 times in a row, and Arsenal still haven't figured out how to beat them. That's the reality of where we're at...

Crystal Palace winger Eberechi Eze to Sky Sports: "We'll take it, we worked hard and showed our quality on the ball as well. We played well and we deserved a point.

"In these type of games you need those chances to go in. Arsenal have loads of quality, you always have to be alert.

"With the momentum we have now we can just keep going."

It's a fifth meeting in a row that Arsenal have not managed to beat Crystal Palace.

Ben Kellow: I fancy an injury time winner for Palace.

I wasn't witness to Arsenal's last few games but I was led to believe they had turned the corner. Hmmmm.

James McCarthy joins James McArthur in the Palace midfield for the last knockings, replacing Luka Milivojevic.

CM: Palace sure know how to suck the joy out of football. That's fine usually, but it's 2021 and we need some joy. Can they ditch their relentless organisation for the last few minutes? Also: remember when Pepe came on and started doing all that great stuff? Me neither.

Tommy-T-rex: Zaha is a fantastic player. But my word he is a diver.

Bukayo Saka's free-kick is punched out, Nicolas Pepe returns it and blasts it well, well over.

You wouldn't know it was into the last five minutes, there's no change in approach or urgency from the hosts. They have a way of playing and they stick to it.
