    Cheers for your company tonight, as Swansea moved in to the top six and Derby claimed back-to-back victories, with Wayne Rooney making a happy, winning return to English football at the age of 34.

    Rooney, who has spent a lot of his interview on Sky discussing tactics, saying he wants their full-backs to get higher up the pitch and they've been poor at throw-ins this season, adds that he believes that should target the play-offs this term.

    "Of course, it's catch-able," the Derby skipper adds. "We can certainly make the play-offs if we show more consistency."

    The Rams are now eight points off the top six, in 17th.

    Wayne Rooney tells Sky Sports: "It was frustrating [just] training with all the lads for so long. You can't beat that buzz of playing out there.

    "I have to credit Barnsley. I thought they defended really well. But we dug in there, we created chances.

    "Jack Marriott, if he hadn't scored his goal, he would have come in for a lot of stick from the players... The chances he had, you have to score them. Yes, it was a nice ball and a good finish from Jack."

    "Wayne Rooney was important today. He showed it with his delivery (for the first goal) and his cross-field pass before the second goal."

    On Rooney playing the full 90 minutes, Cocu says: "I spoke to him at half-time and he said he felt fine. He was fine. Then you see the experience of the player at the end of the game.

    "We have to be careful not to be too enthusiastic with his minutes because we still have to build-up his endurance so we'll take a look at how he recovers."

    "The first half, we started excellently and we had great opportunities to score. In the end, a wide free-kick gave us the lead but we had three 100% chances and you have to score.

    "In the end, we suffered. We knew the end of the game would be hard for us, after just two days' [break]."
