    FT: Stoke 2-3 Forest

Nottingham Forest goalscorer Joe Lolley tells Sky Sports:

"It was nervous towards the end. They got a goal and made it nervous but the lads defended brilliantly.

"It is one game at a time, but we'd rather be in our position than looking up."

    Fellow goalscorer Sammy Ameobi adds:

"It's always good to score but to get the win and go top is great. We've got such a great fan base and they really help the boys."

The Potters pump a ball into the box. It's cleared and Sammy Ameobi runs the ball away and although Stoke win back possession, time is up. Forest go top of the Championship.

Stoke are winless in nine league games. The pressure is not letting up on Nathan Jones.

    Stoke 2-3 Forest

Forest keeper Brice Samba collects a hopeful ball into the box and then goes down, before hurling the ball out for a throw so he can receive treatment. There didn't seem to be much contact.

We have four minutes of added time to play. Can Stoke salvage a point and stop Forest going top?

Stoke pile forward in search of an equaliser.

Nathan Jones implores his side forward again. He hasn't been still all night. The Stoke boss must be shattered.

There's less than two minutes of normal time remaining as Tom Ince sends a tame shot towards goal.

  12. goal

GOAL: Stoke 2-3 Forestpublished at 21:43 BST 27 September 2019

    James McClean (84 mins)

Now then. James McClean has put Stoke right back in this, flicking in a teasing inswinging Tom Edwards free-kick from the right.

It was a tiny touch but more than enough to find the far corner.

    Stoke 1-3 Forest

Stoke are putting in plenty of effort here, but Forest are looking every bit a side who are about to go top of the table. They are defending impressively and are less than seven minutes, plus stoppage time, from a fifth league win of the season.

Stoke sub Tyrese Campbell has a sight of goal but shoots straight at Brice Samba.

    Fulham 2-0 Wigan

Job done for Fulham, who end their five-game winless run thanks to Joe Bryan and Tom Cairney's second-half goals. The latter was a belter of a strike.

Wigan's struggles on the road continue and they stay 19th. Fulham are up to seventh.

All over in League One and it's Simon Grayson who is the manager smiling at the end of the game at Bloomfield Road.

Blackpool's two first-half goals are enough to send them fourth in the table. Michael Appleton's reign at Lincoln starts with a defeat.

  17. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:35 BST 27 September 2019

    Stoke 1-3 Forest

Forest threaten a fourth as the ever-dangerous Sammy Ameobi gets away on the left once again and sends in a cross which is just a bit too long for Lewis Grabban.

    Stoke just cannot contain Ameobi.

Albert Adomah is on for Joe Lolley, who has scored one goal and been involved in the other two.

    Fulham 2-0 Wigan

This one is in to the closing stages now and a late, late comeback from Wigan looks unlikely.

  19. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:30 BST 27 September 2019

    Stoke 1-3 Forest

Forest have been clever with their tactical fouling tonight. Ben Watson is outpaced by Tom Ince so decides he has no option but to bring down the winger.

Watson's reward is an inevitable caution.

  20. goal

    Tom Cairney (83 mins)

Game over, and it's a stunning goal! Anthony Knockaert runs and runs and runs down the right, before squaring the ball to Tom Cairney, who has too much space just outside the box, and Cairney bends a beauty in to the top corner.

Wigan had been threatening an equaliser, but the points are surely Fulham's now.
