  8. FULL-TIMEpublished at 16:25 BST 8 September 2019

    Arsenal 2-1 West Ham

    Arsenal see it through. Just.

West Ham spent long spells chasing the ball, but created plenty of chances, hitting the frame of the goal twice. They will feel they deserved a draw after a gutsy second-half performance.

    Arsenal 2-1 West Ham

    The woodwork again!

Manuela Zinsberger gets fingertips to push Kenza Dali's strike onto the top of the bar.

The luck has been on Arsenal's side in the second half.

Louise Quinn comes on to defend it for the Gunners.

  12. Postpublished at 90 mins

Now then. West Ham have been given a free-kick for what seemed like an unintentional backpass.

It's an indirect free-kick 12 yards from goal...

  13. Postpublished at 88 mins

    Arsenal 2-1 West Ham

The Hammers briefly win back possession but cannot escape their own penalty box. Arsenal are understandably taking their time.

That's a huge compliment to West Ham's efforts today.

Can they make it a special day by sneaking an equaliser?

  14. Postpublished at 86 mins

This will help the home nerves. Arsenal play keep ball in West Ham territory, threatening to create a chance but not quite managing it. They are wasting valuable time though.

  15. YELLOW CARDpublished at 83 mins

    Arsenal 2-1 West Ham

West Ham have a second yellow card of the day.

Subsitute Jacynta Galabadaarachchi goes into the book.

  16. Postpublished at 82 mins

    Arsenal 2-1 West Ham

Less than 10 to go for the Hammers to get a point - or maybe more.

They are knocking the ball around well and Martha Thomas is causing all sorts of problems when the ball is delivered into the box.

Arsenal have looked imperious going forward but very dodgy at the back.

  17. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 79 mins

    Arsenal 2-1 West Ham

    So, so close.

A free-kick from the left is drifted towards the far post by Kenza Dali and takes a deflection.

But it comes back off the post and to safety. Inches from a leveller.

    Jordan NobbsImage source, Rex Features

Almost a dream return for Jordan Nobbs, who gets into the box and hits a first-time shot following a pass inside by Danielle Van de Donk.

It goes just wide of the near post. She couldn't quite drag her foot all the way around it.

  19. Postpublished at 75 mins

    Arsenal 2-1 West Ham

We are approaching 15 minutes to go, plus stoppage time. West Ham have won a corner.

Arsenal clear their lines and have a great chance of a three-on-one break but make a real hash of it.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 72 mins

    Arsenal 2-1 West Ham

West Ham have to make a change and it doesn't look great for Erin Simon, who is clearly in pain as she limps off and is replaced by Cecile Redisch Kvamme.
