"[Three defeats] is a concern to me as a manager. You work always work to win the match. There is more ambition to change the match but the moment is not good."

Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson, speaking to Match of the Day: “I am frustrated as it was such a good performance, the first-half I thought it was an even game, but in the second-half it was pretty much one-way traffic.

“We had to work hard for our equaliser, we had 17 attempts in the second half, we swarmed around the goal but we found Lukasz Fabianski in very good form.

“We have a group of players who don’t put their heads down, they fight for each other and they believe we’re a good team, even if our position does not indicate that.

“I’m not concerned about what is going on below us - if we keep doing our bit and with performances like today we will get points off our own backs.

"Our aim is to still get higher and we must not get too caught up in the relegation battle. We know we are good enough to stay out of it.”

Arsenal are the only side without an away clean sheet in the Premier League this season.

They have six more top-flight away games this season.

Southampton

Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl, speaking to Match of the Day: "Losing in that way is a brutal thing for me. It's unbelievable how easy we gave those points away.

"We did it last week and the same again today. If we don't stop this then we've no chance of staying in the league.

"It can feel like a win if you take a draw like that, and then you give it away in a way - that's stupid and unbelievable for me.

"But it doesn't change anything, we have to fight till the end, as I was saying in December. It's very narrow, very close, but it was clear in December and it doesn't change in February."

Watford

Watford boss Javi Gracia: "It was a very demanding game - we knew it would be.

"It had been an equal game in the first-half. Maybe we had a clear chance with Etienne Capoue.

"In the second-half we had two strikers and after that we played a little bit better. We then controlled the game.

"I know Andre Gray [goalscorer] is a high-quality player and always ready to help the team.

"At the beginning of the season when we won four in a row they [Troy Deeney and Gray] both played together. But there have been different situations during the season.

On the atmosphere because of the presence of former manager Marco Silva: "I felt the atmosphere was a little bit different but I'm happy for all supporters. Maybe for them it was something different and something special."

Cardiff City

Kenneth Zohore, who scored Cardiff's winner, speaking to Match of the Day: "Everybody knows it's been a tough year for me with injuries and not playing much, so to come on and get the goal is big for me and the team.

"It's a massive win. The team played well after a tough week so it was good to get the three points.

"We did that a lot last year so we know we have it in us, we just had to keep going.

"It's all about the team spirit now and how we play as a team, not as individuals."

"Good victory and good work, today I think our work was very good.

"We didn’t win away from home in a long time and we are closer to the top four.

"A clean sheet is another thing we want before every match but we spoke about a lot of things about the match and the win is the first thing, we just had to score one goal more than them.

Bournemouth

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe: "I thought Liverpool were very good but we didn’t really deal with their man threats.

"The first goal was off-side but never really recovered. We pride ourselves in never quitting. We lived on the edge a little bit but looked more of a threat in the second half.

"We had some moments early in the match. We looked fine until that first goal went in.

"We have to find some consistency. I don't think there is anything wrong with our confidence levels or ability.

"This season is very much alive for us and we have some work to do."

Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace midfielder Luka Milivojevic said: "We are pleased with how we played and how many chances we created - I’m very proud.

"We felt the fans were behind us, but West Ham are an experienced team.

"West Ham's penalty was a clear penalty and they scored but in the end we deserved more from this game.

"We are not happy because we felt we deserved more."

Everton manager Marco Silva, speaking to Sky Sports about Kurt Zouma's post-match red card: "I spoke with Kurt and what has said to me is that the referee [Lee Probert] gave him one yellow.

"He didn't see the second yellow. I do not understand what happened and I will speak to the referee."

Zouma was shown two yellows for confronting Probert after the final whistle.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, speaking to MOTD: "We were not happy with the performances from the previous two games and struggled a bit with set-pieces. There were a lot of things we had to improve.

"We have had injuries and fit players who have become ill overnight on the day before a game.

"We have high expectations and today we won in an impressive manner - we had some outstanding performances on the pitch. Goal number three was world-class.

"We wanted to show a reaction. It's out job not only to come through but to really perform and convince."

On Georginio Wijnaldum: "He didn't sleep in the team hotel last night. He had diarrhoea and vomiting two nights earlier so he couldn't come to the team hotel."

On Liverpool's fans: "Supporters get a little bit nervous for all sorts of reasons. That's not a Liverpool thing - it's a football thing."

“The goal towards the end lifted the lads a a bit, 2-0 sounds worse than 2-1. The lads are positive in the dressing room. We needed the goal to give the fans something to cheer about.

"I thought we were fantastic today, and we unsettled them and got into their faces. The new style of play seems to be coming together.

"The new manager has come in with different ideas, in a similar style of play but with different ideas.

"We won’t forget who we are and where we come from. We are fortunate to be in the Premier League so we need to keep fighting until the last moment."

Cardiff captain Sol Bamba told Premier League Productions: "It's been a tough couple of weeks. We knew we had to come here and get a result and it wasn't easy. But to put in a performance like this is very good and we're very pleased at the end.

"It's a massive boost, especially at this stage of the season. We want to build momentum and have a run of games so it was good to get the win today and hopefully we can build on that.

"It can't get better, scoring the first goal in front of our fans. A lot goes through your mind. I know Emiliano Sala was looking from up there so it's good to get the three points."
