Glorious chance for an Army second goal to make this interesting.

Sadly substitute Graham Williams can't finish it off from close range after a dangerous ball into the German area.

Lovely save from close range though by Sven Steingraeber.

Good move from the Army as Ryan Paddock forces a save at the near post and a corner.

But the hosts can't quite find a goal despite the familiar City Ground chants of "Come On You Reds" to roar them along.

Last couple of minutes now.

Great saves again from Luke Cairney in the Army goal to deny the Germans a fourth goal.

First one is a lovely save at the near post corner from Andreas Dick clawing it away from under his crossbar and then he's off his line to deny substitute Alexander Rahmig the chance to slide it home.

Into the last 10 minutes and the Germans have only made the one change so far.

But they seem content to sit off the Army a bit here and let them have long spells on the ball.

Suddenly, Martin Pett fires in a lovely low strike from the edge of the area that Luke Cairney has to tip behind for a corner.

The Army have seen the bulk of possession and territory in the last 10 minutes.

Still the Germans have a two-goal cushion though as Sam Atkinson fires an effort over the crossbar from 20 yards out for the hosts.

Approaching the last 15 minutes and Eric Schaaf almost has a second goal for the Germans.

Got himself in a bit of space to open up for a shot on the edge of the Army penalty area, but couldn't curl his left-foot effort towards goal.

About halfway through this second half now and there's a few substitutes around the corner for both sides by looks of it.

The Army have probably had the better of the chances since the restart but the Germans do look very organised coming forward on the break with Eric Schaaf again looking dangerous.

His first-half goal was a beauty if you want to wind back and watch it again, I recommend it!

And the teams are back out for the second half. No changes as yet.

The Army will want to change the scoreline though after falling 3-1 behind in that first half, but they did finish the first 45 with a goal to keep them in it.

Can the home side build on it?

The home ground of Scottish Premiership club Heart of Midlothian, Tynecastle, is hosting an interactive play 'War of Two Halves'.

It's the story of the Hearts side that joined up to fight in World War One.

The show played to sell out crowds during the Edinburgh Festival, and is playing again in the lead up to Remembrance Sunday.

Colleagues Andrew Southwick and Arran Hannah went to meet the cast and see the play in action.

It's called the Last Pass and is all about football in World War One and one particular family's journey.

Colleagues Owen Phillips, Andrew Aloia and Brendon Mitchell have compiled a quite phenomenal piece of journalism to honour and commemorate the thousands who went to war for their country thinking that they would be taking just a short break from playing football.
