Been quite a day of action in the EFL and as mentioned earlier, we've got more to come for you tomorrow.

Leeds and Wigan Athletic meet in a lunchtime Championship fixture.

A win for Marcelo Bielsa's side would send them back to the top on goal difference but don't ever write off Paul Cook's Wigan.

We'll have all the build-up for you from 13:15 GMT here on BBC Sport.

    FT: Stoke City 0-0 Middlesbrough

So Boro stay third, a point behind second-placed Sheffield United and two behind new leaders Norwich.

    Stoke meanwhile stay 15th.

    And so it ends goalless.

Plenty of effort from both sides, but just not that moment of decisiveness when it was needed.

Both defences on top, but some strong performances too.

Boro miss the chance to go back to the top but they have conceded just eight goals in 16 league matches so far this season.

  4. Postpublished at 90+2 mins

    Stoke City 0-0 Middlesbrough

Darren Randolph this time clings on confidently under pressure as Stoke search for the win.

  5. Postpublished at 90+1 mins

    Stoke City 0-0 Middlesbrough

Corner for Boro is well caught by a confident Jack Butland and perhaps the visitors' chance for a dramatic late winner goes with it....

  6. INJURY TIMEpublished at 19:22 GMT 3 November 2018

    Stoke City 0-0 Middlesbrough

Here we go then with three minutes added on at the end of the 90.

  7. Postpublished at 88 mins

    Stoke City 0-0 Middlesbrough

Sense that both sides are happy to hold on to this point.

Desperate not to make a mistake or overstretch themselves.

  8. Postpublished at 85 mins

    Stoke City 0-0 Middlesbrough

Last five minutes of this one now.

Still no goals, but we have seen some full-blooded effort and top goalkeeping too.

Still time for someone to be a hero with a winner?

  9. Postpublished at 83 mins

    Stoke City 0-0 Middlesbrough

Stoke sub James McClean straight into the action with a teasing cross from the left that Darren Randolph has to claw away under the threat of Peter Crouch bearing down on goal.

Could be an interesting finish to this one....

  10. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 81 mins

    Stoke City 0-0 Middlesbrough

Here comes a triple substitution from Gary Rowett no less as we move into the last 10 minutes.

James McClean, Peter Crouch and Bojan Krkic all come on for Oghenekaro Etebo, Saido Berahino and Benik Afobe.

Marcus Tavernier with a first real sight of goal for Boro.

Wastes both the chance itself and the opportunity to pick out Jordan Hugill to his right as it goes sailing into the stands behind.

Boss Tony Pulis is unlikely to be impressed with that.

Without doubt, the best chance of the night fell to this man.

Jordan Hugill may well be wondering what could've been when he was bearing down on goal up against Jack Butland, but we'll never know.

Still goalless with just over 12 minutes left of the 90.

  13. Postpublished at 75 mins

    Stoke City 0-0 Middlesbrough

Another great save from Stoke goalkeeper Jack Butland keeps the score at 0-0.

The ball falls to Jonny Howson in the Stoke area after a long throw-in by Danny Batth causes problems in the home defence but the England international denies the former Norwich man with his legs.

  14. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 73 mins

    Stoke City 0-0 Middlesbrough

Here comes Boro's second change. Lewis Wing replaces Stewart Downing in midfield.

  15. Postpublished at 72 mins

    Stoke City 0-0 Middlesbrough

Mo Besic gets a rare chance to stretch his legs in space down Boro's left.

He goes all the way to the edge of the Stoke penalty box in fact and fires a ball across goal.

Out of play it goes though and out of Jordan Hugill's reach.

Last 20 minutes and despite plenty of effort and endeavour, still these two can't be separated.

It was really nice to be back in the team, and the lads made it easy because the team is so full of confidence. We showed how good we are in the second half by scoring four times. [Being top of the table] does show we're doing the right things at the moment but there are still 30 games of the season to go.

Norwich forward Teemu Pukki told BBC Radio Norfolk

Glorious chance missed by Boro and Jordan Hugill to take the lead against the run of play!

Goalkeeper Jack Butland spreads himself wide and large to stop the ball form beating him, but Hugill will probably think he should've converted there.

He was played in beautifully there one-on-one and beat the offside trap for Boro's best chance so far.

  19. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 65 mins

    Stoke City 0-0 Middlesbrough

Stoke pressing with some real purpose as they try to get the opener.

Joe Allen's incisive run nearly finds the final ball into the penalty box for the finish but Boro are just about organised to get it clear more than once.

First change comes for Boro meanwhile as Marcus Tavernier is on for Martin Braithwaite.

Another dangerous cross from Stoke's right by Tom Edwards.

Dael Fry has to stoop low and head it clear behind his own goal to get rid of the threat.
