I'm looking at how little Premier League experience is in the squad, a lot of the boys are playing in high end Championship teams and we need the step up.

You've got great players in the Championship but they turn into top quality players when they're in the Premier League.

It's fine margins in football, how many times did we hit the post?

I keep going back to it, that bit of quality up front is so crucial and you can see Bosnia have it.

  3. 'Steep learning curve'published at 21:59 BST 15 October 2018

    Bosnia 2-0 Northern Ireland

Northern Ireland manager Michael O'Neill tells Sky Sports: "lt is the nature of the game, Bosnia had chances but we had chances at critical times. We should have gone 2-0 up. We were punished for a mistake, a young player makes a mistake in the wrong aware of the pitch and Edin Dzeko punishes us.

"It is steep learning curve for us, there were positives and negatives, we we were good for 20-25 minutes and the goal really knocked us.

"The reality of the situation is that we have no points. If we look at the games, we have introduced a lot of young players - three under 21s finished the game today - one of the things hurting us is that players are not playing for their clubs. We need to address that.

"We are creating chances and we will scratch our head to why we have no points."

  4. A head scratcherpublished at 21:56 BST 15 October 2018

    Bosnia 2-0 Northern Ireland

    John O'Neill
Former Northern Ireland defender on BBC Radio Ulster

The friendly against the Republic of Ireland is a strange one. I'm not sure how Michael O'Neill will approach that one in terms of selection, you've got to presume that we aren't remaining in our league so there's no worries regarding injuries.

Kyle Lafferty returning might change it, who knows but it's a real head scratch.

  5. Postpublished at 21:51 BST 15 October 2018

    Bosnia 2-0 Northern Ireland

Northern Ireland captain Corry Evans: "We are disappointed we have lost the game and we did not take our chances. We hit the post at 0-0 and 1-0 down. When you play against sides like this with individual quality like Edin Dzeko, they will punish you.

"Dzek oand Miralem Pjanic hare quality and are game winners. We have to work harder as a team to win matches."

Edin Dzeko is some player, you used to see it every week at Manchester City, his touch is incredible and he can always find the back of the net.

He only needs one chance and he'll bury it.

  7. Postpublished at 21:45 BST 15 October 2018

    Bosnia 2-0 Northern Ireland

Former Northern Ireland international Neil Lennon says on Sky Sports that Bosnia skipper Edin Dzeko was the difference between the two sides.

  8. Bad result, good performancepublished at 21:42 BST 15 October 2018

    Bosnia 2-0 Northern Ireland

    John O'Neill
Former Northern Ireland defender on BBC Radio Ulster

The difference is in finishing, Marko Arnautovic in Austria, Edin Dzeko here tonight.

I think it's down to inexperience as well, this back four hasn't played together all to often as you see with how Bosnia scored.

Yes, the result is disappointing but you can't say the performance wasn't up there.

This is amazing, I've never seen us have such a bad run of luck in front of goal.

Three times we've hit the post, we could be winning this.

It must be an absolute joy to play with Edin Dzeko, you could be in all sorts of trouble and you know he'll bail you out somehow.

He can hold up the ball, bring players into the game and finish.
