    Quote Message

The players really have to take the credit for the result today. They have really bought into what Bryan (McLoughlin) and I are trying to do here. We can gather all the stats and information but they carry it out on the pitch, so for that they must be commended.

  17. Stafford hails important three pointspublished at 17:31 BST 27 October 2018

    Dungannon Swifts 1-2 Linfield

    Quote Message

On any given Saturday it's very tough to get three points wherever you go in this league but it was important for us to get a win after losing last week to Ards. I don't think it takes much imagination to know what the manager said to us at half-time but we took it on the chin and produced a performance in the second half.

    Mark Stafford, Linfield goalscorer

It's been a good start for the visitors at Mourneview.

They're getting on the ball in midfield, keeping possession well and haven't been threatened too much at the back.

Manager Darren Mullen will be happy.

  19. United aim to take advantage of home gamespublished at 17:25 BST 27 October 2018

    Ballymena Utd 3-0 Crusaders

    Quote Message

We didn't really think about playing all our games away from home at the start of the season to be honest. We now have an opportunity with a lot of home games to come but we have to take advantage of it. We are far from the finished article but we have five or six boys who are more than ready to step in and take someone else's place.

    Jonny Addis, Ballymena United captain

  20. Silky from Sykespublished at 17:20 BST 27 October 2018

    Glenavon 0-0 Newry City

Mark Sykes has wasted no time in showing the skills that have caught the eye so often in his young career.

A great run down the right sees him beat a few defenders and force a corner, but Newry then clear the danger.
