FT: Athletic Bilbao 1-1 Real Madrid

So Real Madrid have dropped points under Julen Lopetegui for the first time.

There's now only one team with a 100% record in La Liga and that is Barcelona.

Barca lead the way on 12 points. Real are second on 10.

  7. Postpublished at 90+3 mins

    Athletic Bilbao 1-1 Real Madrid

Save by Thibaut Courtois! It was comfortable in the end but needed saving from Mikel Rico.

  8. YELLOW CARDpublished at 90+2 mins

    Athletic Bilbao 1-1 Real Madrid

This ref will still be waving the yellow card in his sleep. Unai Simon gets booked for time wasting.

  9. Postpublished at 90+2 mins

    Athletic Bilbao 1-1 Real Madrid

A huge round of applause from the home fans. It's not a goal, or a pass or even a good tackle. It comes as they celebrate Isco being flagged offside.

  10. ADDED TIMEpublished at 90+1 mins

    Athletic Bilbao 1-1 Real Madrid

    Three minutes are added on.

Real Madrid need a goal or they're drop points for the first time under Julen Lopetegui.

  11. Postpublished at 90 mins

    Athletic Bilbao 1-1 Real Madrid

Wrong way! Marco Asensio goes on a mazy run and then finds Karim Benzema. The Frenchman plays a pass back inside but if he had have looked behind him there was a white shirt in acres of space!

  12. YELLOW CARDpublished at 88 mins

    Athletic Bilbao 1-1 Real Madrid

This is ridiculous now. Lucas Vasquez is the seventh man to be booked. I don't even know what this one was for. There are players tumbling over all over the place.

Six of those yellows have come in the last 25 minutes.

  13. Postpublished at 87 mins

    Athletic Bilbao 1-1 Real Madrid

Can we just rewind to 10 minutes ago? Neither side can string two passes together now.

  14. YELLOW CARDpublished at 85 mins

    Athletic Bilbao 1-1 Real Madrid

Now Dani Carvajal is booked for a ridiculous late barge.

  15. Postpublished at 84 mins

    Athletic Bilbao 1-1 Real Madrid

This has got scrappy with all the subs and a fair few fouls. Marco Asensio is the latest to go down.

  16. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 82 mins

    Athletic Bilbao 1-1 Real Madrid

Another sub. Benat, who has just been booked, is replaced by Mikel Rico.

Both teams have made three subs now.

  17. Postpublished at 81 mins

    Athletic Bilbao 1-1 Real Madrid

Athletic Bilbao are practically playing without a striker now but that isn't putting them off attacking. Either team could win this in the final 10 minutes.

  18. YELLOW CARDpublished at 79 mins

    Athletic Bilbao 1-1 Real Madrid

Another yellow for Athletic. That's their fifth booking. Benat Etxebarria is the latest on the naughty step for a cynical foul on Isco.

Isco has changed this game. Real have looked far better since he came on.

  19. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 76 mins

    Athletic Bilbao 1-1 Real Madrid

Here is Lucas Vasquez. Gareth Bale is the man to go off. Big call.

Inaki Williams who has run his proverbial socks off tonight is substituted by Athletic Bilbao. Mikel San Jose comes on. Midfielder for striker, that one.

  20. Postpublished at 74 mins

    Athletic Bilbao 1-1 Real Madrid

He's no Cristiano. Ramos's free-kick flies comfortably over.

Lucas Vasquez is coming on for Real.
