    FT: Millwall 1-2 Swansea

That's all from us tonight - and what a day of EFL action it's been.

Aston Villa tonked at Sheffield United earlier, with Frank Lampard's Derby up to fourth...

While Swansea showed grit we haven't seen from them in ages to come from behind and win at Millwall with 10 men - let's hope for more of the same tomorrow.

There are two more Championship games remaining this weekend, which we'll have full coverage of on the BBC Sport website.

At 12:00 BST we've got Ipswich v Norwich in the East Anglian derby, with both teams struggling in the bottom half.

Bristol City host Blackburn at 13:30 BST - whoever wins will rise into a play-off spot.

Here's how the top of the Championship table looks after all of that.

Swansea were down in 13th at the 77-minute mark, but that late turnaround has propelled them up into the top six.

Leeds and Middlesbrough occupy the automatic promotion spots at this early stage, while impressive wins today for Sheffield United, Derby and Brentford have taken them into the play-off places.

The gaffer said there's chances in the game for us. We conceded to a set-piece which isn't what we wanted, but we showed great spirit to get back into the game and I thought we deserved the three points.

    I've just realised it's Jefferson Montero's 29th birthday today.

He played less than 30 minutes at the Den, but what a 30 minutes it was.

Two assists to earn Swansea three precious points - their first win in five.

I don't think many teams in the Championship will be able to bring on a player of his quality off the bench, never mind starting.

An early red card, injuries to key players and a goal down - that's team spirit for you.

For 70 minutes this was an ordinary game, but two classy Swansea goals turned this game in a way few people could've expected.

The woodwork was also hit at both ends, with Tom Elliott inches away from nicking Millwall a point with the last touch of the match - wow!

  8. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 19:26 BST 1 September 2018

    Millwall 1-2 Swansea

How has that not crossed the line?!

Cross floated into the box, Tom Elliott attacks it and it comes off the underside of the bar and out.

    Such drama at the death!

At the other end Millwall have a corner, which will surely be their final chance...

It's hoofed clear by Swansea but the ball will come back.

  10. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 90+4 mins

    Millwall 1-2 Swansea

Another attack worthy of the Premier League.

Swansea have so much more composure than the hosts in the box - the ball is rolled to Tom Carroll who curls a shot against the outside of the post.

  11. Postpublished at 90+3 mins

    Millwall 1-2 Swansea

Millwall struggling to create any late chances and once again Jefferson Montero's dribbling takes Swansea up the pitch to win a priceless throw-in.

  12. INJURY TIMEpublished at 90+1 mins

    Millwall 1-2 Swansea

Five minutes of added time - meaning we'll have played 100 minutes in this game overall.

Millwall are starting to pepper the Swansea box with crosses but they simply aren't landing in the right places.

  13. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 90 mins

    Millwall 1-2 Swansea

Another change for Millwall - Tom Elliott replacing Mahlon Romeo.

The changes have come a bit late from Neil Harris, and we're approaching stoppage time at the Den...

  14. Postpublished at 89 mins

    Millwall 1-2 Swansea

I thought Martin Olsson had done well but his replacement Jefferson Montero has changed the course of this game.

I'm more than happy to admit I've got this one totally wrong - Swansea are on the verge of gaining three points which looked almost impossible a little over 10 minutes ago.

Millwall have striker Tom Bradshaw on for James Meredith, while Montero has been booked for the Swans.

    That's the very definition of a sucker-punch!

It's a quick break from 10-man Swansea, and Jefferson Montero and Bersant Celina's excellent one-touch play allows Oli McBurnie to tap in at the far post.

A great passage of play and boss Graham Potter is throwing his arms about in celebration.

  16. CLOSE!published at 83 mins

    Millwall 1-1 Swansea

Millwall try to respond to the setback, but Jiri Skalak can only drive his shot over from wide in the area.

Neil Harris will kick himself if his side fail to take all three points here.

Swansea's side is makeshift and the hosts haven't made the most of their man advantage.

  17. Postpublished at 80 mins

    Millwall 1-1 Swansea

Remember Swansea have had 10 men since the fifth minute, when Courtney Baker-Richardson was given his marching orders for a reckless lunge on James Meredith.

They've understandably been second best but two players with Premier League quality have linked to put them right back in this.

What a finish - out of nowhere.

Two Swansea subs - who only came on because of injuries - link up with devastating effect.

Jefferson Montero beats Mahlon Romeo all ends up and passes infield for Kyle Naughton, whose first touch is behind him but he still manages to dig out a finish into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.

  19. 'Brentford have moved on to next level'published at 19:06 BST 1 September 2018

    FT: Brentford 2-1 Nottm Forest

Brentford are up to fifth in the Championship table after ending Nottingham Forest's unbeaten start in a 2-1 win at Griffin Park.

"Forest posed some very different questions, but we have problem-solvers all over the pitch now," manager Dean Smith said.

"That side of their game shows they have moved up to the next level, and I was delighted with that because they had to show a lot of character today.

"“I thought they’d have to change things at half-time and they put two wide men on and that gave us a few more problems, but we went toe to toe with them and deserved the win.”

    Millwall 1-0 Swansea

Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins is in the directors box at the Den, and is taking some flack from the club's travelling fans.

They feel he hasn't reinvested the money received for the likes of Alfie Mawson and Sam Clucas.

Manager Graham Potter has put on a brave face so far, but on this showing it'll be tough for the Swans to mount a promotion challenge.
