    Well, I'm afraid the weather has brought a premature end to tonight's proceedings in the Irish Premiership, with Storm Eleanor causing the abandonment of all three fixtures, which will now have to be re-played at a later date, along with the two games which were postponed on Monday.

    We'll be back on Saturday with live coverage of the 16 scheduled fifth-round ties in the Irish Cup. Let's hope the weather picks up before then!

    The match between Ards and Glenavon at Bangor has also now been abandoned because of concerns over the safety of players and spectators because of the high winds. The decision came after just a few minutes of the second half had been played.

    Referee Lee Tavinder has taken the players off the pitch at Bangor, although reports indicate that the game has not yet been abandoned.

    Supporters are reported to have been evacuated from a stand and advertising hoardings around the pitch are coming loose.

    The game between Cliftonville and Ballymena United has also been abandoned at half-time because of "adverse weather conditions" at Solitude.

    The wind has been strengthening through the course of the evening and the referee has decided to call a halt with safety in mind.

    The Glenavon forward turned and smashed low past Sam Johnston into the bottom corner for his second of the game in the 42nd minute, with Jordan Jenkins providing the assist.

    Glenavon looking good for a seventh win from their last eight away league matches - last Saturday's defeat at Ballymena the only blot in that record.
