  • Champions go 10 points clear of RB Leipzig

    Bayern Munich 4-1 Borussia Dortmund

Bayern Munich were brilliant when they had to be and controlled when they didn't. They go 10 points clear with another Der Klassiker win.

Robert Lewandowski scored twice but then went off with a shoulder injury. Could he be a doubt for Wednesday's game with Real Madrid?

Will Dortmund's confidence be hit for Tuesday's Champions League match with Monaco?

Those are questions I can't answer as I don't have a time machine. That's the end of this live page though, thanks for joining me today.

Almost a great consolation by Christian Pulisic, Dortmund's highly rated USA teenager, who runs at Bayern's defence and forces a good save from Sven Ulreich.

  3. Postpublished at 85 mins

Corner to Bayern as Arjen Robben, well you know what he did, and then his shot was deflected over. Dortmund half clear, and then again from a cross, and Arturo Vidal fizzes an 18-yard shot wide.

  4. Postpublished at 82 mins

Bayern midfielder Arturo Vidal lines up a shot from 25 yards but he drags it and it's pretty weak. If anybody else will score in this game, it's the champions.

  5. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 79 mins

Bayern's final change comes as Mats Hummels, a summer signing from Borussia Dortmund, replaces Javi Martinez in defence.

  6. Postpublished at 76 mins

It's almost 5-1 as Arjen Robben cuts in (millionth time I've typed that today) and plays the ball through to Joshua Kimmich, who chips the ball just wide. Almost delicious.

  7. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 74 mins

Franck Ribery comes off with skillful Brazilian winger Douglas Costa coming on to replace him. Carlo Ancelotti still has one change left to go with Wednesday's Real Madrid match in mind.

Robert Lewandowski, who was holding his shoulder again after trying to control a pass, comes off. Bayern are shutting up shop as defender/midfielder Joshua Kimmich comes on.

Dortmund make an immediate change, Mikel Merino replacing Raphael Guerreiro.

    Robert Lewandowski

Robert Lewandowski steps up... and sends Roman Burki the wrong way. That's the former Dortmund striker's second of the game.

He's holding his shoulder though. Don't think that's the new dab.

  11. PENALTY TO BAYERNpublished at 68 mins

Seconds after Dortmund should have pulled one back, Bayern have a penalty. Robert Lewandowski dummies past Roman Burki, who hacks him down. Yellow card for the keeper.

Totally against the run of play, Borussia Dortmund are in. And surely Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is going to equalise but Jerome Boateng clears off the line.

  13. Postpublished at 67 mins

Arjen Robben is on fire. Where's my flames emoji? He cuts in with a nutmeg but his cross is blocked.

Wednesday's game against Real Madrid could be an absolute classic.

  14. Postpublished at 65 mins

Arjen Robben has almost Arjen Robbened again. Cuts in and curls an effort over the bar.

  15. YELLOW CARDpublished at 63 mins

Bayern cut Dortmund apart and three players almost get in each other's way as they try to shoot. Too many cooks spoiling the broth.

Meanwhile, Arturo Vidal has been booked for a foul.

  16. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 60 mins

Borussia Dortmund bring off a 19-year-old big summer signing - and they bring on another one. Turkey's Emre Mor replaces France's Ousmane Dembele.

  17. Postpublished at 56 mins

Javi Martinez does well to shepherd Ousmane Dembele out of play. Dortmund have already looked out of this game and come back into it once. Can they do it again?

  18. Postpublished at 18:43 BST 8 April 2017

Does anyone in the world have more of a trademark goal than Arjen Robben? If you see he's scored you can be fairly confident he's cut in from the right before curling home.

  19. Postpublished at 52 mins

Arjen Robben gets the ball in a similar position and Borussia Dortmund panic. Fortunately for them, he can't wriggle his way through again.

    Arjen Robben

Arjen Robben gets the ball on the right and runs at the Dortmund defence before cutting inside. It looks like he's over-run it as he keeps cutting in further and further to get the ball on ol' lefty, eventually he does get his effort in and it curls past keeper Roman Burki.
