So thanks for joining us today.

Tomorrow's European live text action starts earlier than usual as Real Madrid host Granada at 11:00 BST.

Then at 20:00 BST, Barcelona visit Celta Vigo and Marseille host Ligue 1 title rivals Marseille.

We're now at the stage when we can start to plot how many games until Juventus wrap up the title. They are 14 points clear with nine games to go. So five more wins and they're champions - even fewer if Roma or Lazio drop points.

Of course, Juventus are probably more focused on other tournaments now. They face Fiorentina on Tuesday in the Coppa Italia semi-final second leg - they lost the first leg 2-1.

And in 10 days' time it's Monaco in the Champions League quarter-final.

Juventus fan Rishi Verma: Now at the business end of the season, and the Scudetto within reach, it's all about points - irrespective of the performance.

  4. FULL-TIMEpublished at 21:51 BST 4 April 2015

Juventus go 14 points clear of Roma at the top of the table but it was far from the most comfortable victory they've had.

Carlos Tevez turns a defender 35 yards from goal, charges forward and has a go from the edge of the box. Luigi Sepe saves it but substitute Roberto Pereyra buries the rebound.

  6. INJURY TIMEpublished at 21:49 BST 4 April 2015

Five minutes of injury time. Empoli are down to 10 men as Simone Verdi - who was one of the players on the ground - is unable to continue. The other, Matias Vecino, is fine to play on and fouls Alvaro Morata.

Two Empoli players down on the ground injured on different parts of the pitch.

It almost looks like they're identical twins where one is feeling the other's pain but I think the were both tackled in separate indcidents.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:42 BST 4 April 2015

Actually Arturo Vidal can't continue, he's replaced by Simone Pepe.

Juventus are running out of midfield options with a Champions League quarter-final against Monaco coming up.

Juventus are starting to be sloppy at the back now, conceding possession to Empoli several times.

Arturo Vidal hoofs the ball away and he appears to have hurt himself while landing. He limps off the pitch. Not a good sign for the Champions League quarter-finalists with Paul Pogba, Andrea Pirlo and Claudio Marchisio currently sidelined.

Luckily the Chilean can play on.

And now Empoli have a corner after Angelo Ogbonna does well to tackle Riccardo Saponara, who has been one of the Blues' best players today.

The corner comes in and takes a deflection which sees it land in Gianluigi Buffon's arms.

  11. TEN TO GOpublished at 21:36 BST 4 April 2015

Juventus could make it 2-0 as Carlos Tevez plays the ball to Arturo Vidal and continues his run into the box in space looking for the return. However the Chilean midfielder fancies a go himself but his shot is wide.

The hosts are dominant but still only lead by one.

  12. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:34 BST 4 April 2015

Empoli make a final change - Simone Verdi on and Manuel Pucciarelli off.

Now Juventus make their second swap, Roberto Pereyra replaces Stefano Sturaro in midfield.

Why make two changes together when you can spread them out by 30 seconds? Empoli bring on Piotr Zielinski for Daniele Croce in midfield.

  14. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:29 BST 4 April 2015

Corner to Juventus as Patrice Evra gets the ball in the box but Daniele Rugani blocks him and it's out for a corner.

Empoli bring off Middlesbrough legend Massimo Maccarone and Georgia international Levan Mchedlidze replaces him up top.

Alvaro Morata, a summer signing from Real Madrid, has scored seven goals in 22 Serie A appearances this season.

Real have the option to re-sign the 22-year-old this summer, but he says he wants to stay with Juve.

  16. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:23 BST 4 April 2015

Juventus bring on Alvaro Morata but they only have one space for a Spanish striker in their team so he replaces Fernando Llorente.

Pass. Pass. Pass. Pass. Pass. Juventus in total control at the moment.

Juventus break at pace and in numbers, the ball ends up to right-back Stephan Lichtsteiner but his cross is poor when he should have found Carlos Tevez - who has been central to most of Juventus's moves tonight.

I asked what that banner three entries ago was about and you didn't disappoint.

Francesco from Holloway Rd: Those are the Droogs (clockwork orange) - that's how the Juve hardcore fans in Italy call themselves.

Stan in Pemberton: The flag represents the Juventus Ultras, who refer to themselves as the 'drughi' aka the droogs from A Clockwork Orange.

Empoli coach Maurizio Sarri was enjoying a smoke on the sidelines before the game. Can't really imagine a Premier League manager doing that.
