John Roberts:, external The difference is that the foul today was a penalty, while Zlatan's wasn't even a yellow. That's why Chelsea were embarrassing.

Dave:, external The point with Chelsea was EVERY outfield player, some sprinting the length of the pitch, trying to get involved.

The Racheed:, external Kompany needs to sit out. The earlier Pellegrini realises that the better.

Burnley boss Sean Dyche said: "Our will and desire to be in the Premier League is all on show. But we won't get too carried away.

"We know there's a long way to go - the players are grounded. We haven't been broken from defeat - we've been dented a few times - but this win reinforces confidence and belief.

"In previous games we've had misfortune and mistakes; today we didn't and we got the margins to go our way.

"It's not only just governed by results as a manager; you also have to see if the players are improving and I think they are."

Nick, Burnley: Forget George Boyd's goal, his work rate, desire and his confidence in his own ability enabled him to put in one of the best second-half performances I have seen all season. Ridiculous.

Dan Vitran, Leicester: Manuel's mind games failed. Mourinho still the master. You know his comments (claiming Chelsea will win the title) affected the Man City players and wow I'm amazed to the extent it did.

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini said: "It was a normal performance and I don't think we played very badly. We created more chances, they had one shot on target and got a beautiful goal.

"We didn't create enough to score, but we were very unlucky.

"Of course we're doing something wrong as we are not winning the games we normally do. I don't want to focus on two or three players. We are a team, a squad of 22 players, and I'm sure they're given the most they can. It's important to continue trusting what they are doing.

"When you have a mathematical chance, you have a chance to win the title. The reality is that it's more difficult to do so now."

Alex, Reading: Will the papers be full of pictures of Man City players surrounding the referee, with pundits queuing up to call them a disgrace?

Janice, Manchester: 'The Engineer' has been doing too much tinkering this season, no consistency. I don't think they want it, they certainly don't deserve it.

BBC 606 host Robbie Savage: "It was big a decision in the 81st minute from Manuel Pellegrini when he left on Fernandinho and took off Yaya Toure. I don't think he was injured and he didn't look happy. Did I hear about Roberto Mancini wanting him at Inter Milan?

"I think it's a stonewall penalty not given by the referee. Massive talking point."
