A 90th-minute goal by Florent Cuvelier secured Burton a 1-0 victory at bottom-club Hartlepool that means they will end the weekend top of League Two.

Shrewsbury had looked set to finish in first place but a 95th minute equaliser from Sullay Kaikai meant they were held to a 1-1 draw by Cambridge United.

Southend are up to fourth after picking up a point with a 2-2 draw at home to third-place Wycombe.

A late Max Power goal was not enough to rescue something for Tranmere as they lost 3-2 to Dagenham & Redbridge and they drop into the bottom two.

Bristol City move a step closer to promotion back to the Championship by winning 2-1 at Crawley.

They are 12 points clear of third-placed Swindon and 10 clear of second-place Preston, who won 2-0 at MK Dons.

Swindon, in third, beat Notts County 3-0 but remain two points off second.

Peterborough beat Leyton Orient 1-0 to boost their play-off hopes as they move up to eighth, level on 50 points with Doncaster. The result, though leaves Orient in the relegation zone.

  4. Championship tablepublished at 17:08 GMT 7 March 2015

    Championship

At the bottom of the Championship, it is increasingly difficult to see how the bottom three are getting out of this.

Wigan and Millwall, who both lost today, are eight points adrift of safety, while bottom of the table Blackpool are 17 points behind 21st.

That looks tough to catch up.

  5. Championship tablepublished at 17:04 GMT 7 March 2015

    Championship

What an ending to the afternoon in the Championship as two injury-time goals from Bournemouth deny Derby going top.

Bournemouth, who beat Fulham last night, remain top of the pile on goal difference, after Derby, Watford and Middlesbrough all failed to win.

There is no change to the top six, with the top four all level on points.
