This quote from opening goalscorer Neymar could perhaps provide a bit of self-help for Atletico coach Diego Simeone and his team:

"I got one today. But even if I hadn't, life goes on."

Earlier, Barcelona did what they are best at doing - tearing teams apart. They tore apart Levante and won 5-0.

"My players aren't euphoric because they know how tough it is to win a title," said Barca coach Luis Enrique. "The number of games you win doesn't matter if they don't help you win titles."

Those players have to cheer up.

  4. Ligue 1 resultpublished at 21:58 GMT 15 February 2015

Let's go over the border to France, where Brittany club Lorient held leaders Lyon. Ghana's Jordan Ayew - him of Africa Cup of Nations fame - gave the home side the lead, but Clinton Njie equalised for Lyon.

That all means that Lyon are 50 points two ahead of Marseille and Paris St-Germain. Its tight at the top.

  5. FULL-TIMEpublished at 21:51 GMT 15 February 2015

That's it. All over in Vigo. Current league champions Atletico have failed to match title rivals Barcelona and Real Madrid, who both won this weekend. It's not over in La Liga, but...

  6. INJURY TIMEpublished at 21:50 GMT 15 February 2015

Great shot, great save. Goalscorer Fabian Orellana is denied by the hand of Moya Rumbo.

  7. INJURY TIMEpublished at 21:48 GMT 15 February 2015

Stoppage time. Atletico defender Diego Godin has been playing without his mask for a fair few minutes - he looks like a guy whose team has been outplayed for 90 minutes by Celta Vigo.

  8. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 21:43 GMT 15 February 2015

Meanwhile, back in north-west Spain, Atletico substitute Cani sees his shot come off the post from a yard out.

Fortunately for him, he was ruled offside - unfortunately for his team, they remain 2-0 down.

  9. Serie A resultpublished at 21:39 GMT 15 February 2015

It is all over. Juventus fought back from a goal down to take the lead, but then lost their advantage and missed a second-half penalty. The small consolation was that second-placed Roma only managed to draw today, which means Juve still hold a seven point lead. Not bad.

  10. Postpublished at 21:36 GMT 15 February 2015

Should he have done better? Mario Mandzukic meets a cross form the right, but his header from 12 yards is straight at keeper Sergio.

  11. Postpublished at 21:32 GMT 15 February 2015

Atletico's possession stat stands at 29% at the moment - the lowest it has been this season. Does that say more about how good Celta have been? Or how bad Atletico have been?

  12. GOALpublished at 21:27 GMT 15 February 2015

Well slap us with a Spanish omelette. Celta double their lead as Chilean winger Fabian Orellana crashes in an angled drive into the keeper's bottom right.

  13. Serie A latestpublished at 21:27 GMT 15 February 2015

There promises to be a great finish in store in Cesena. The home side have equalised through Franco Brienza and a few moments ago Juve's Arturo Vidal missed a penalty.

  14. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:24 GMT 15 February 2015

Zut alors! France attacking midfielder/forward Antoine Griezmann strikes a low shot that forces a great low save from Sergio.

  15. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:20 GMT 15 February 2015

The goal seems to have sparked something inside Atletico, with Saul Niguez forcing a good save from Sergio. At the other end Argentine striker Joaquin Larrivey somehow fails to convert from two yards after the ball is squared to him.

  16. GOALpublished at 21:15 GMT 15 February 2015

A lovely spot-kick by the Spanish forward who slots to the left of Moya Rumbo. Game on!

  17. PENALTY TO CELTApublished at 21:14 GMT 15 February 2015

Agudo Duran aka Nolito is brought down by Mario Suarez... Nolito will take the pen

  18. Postpublished at 21:12 GMT 15 February 2015

Atletico defender Diego Godin, who is wearing a black mask to protect his broken nose, gets on the end of a cross but heads way, way over. That's about as exciting as it gets folks. What's everybody had for dinner?

  19. Postpublished at 21:05 GMT 15 February 2015

Celta's Fernandez Borja Fernandez has the first shot of the second half - a powerful drive that is always rising. The closing down was so poor that the midfielder could have sat down and had a cup of tea before he hit that.

  20. KICK-OFFpublished at 21:01 GMT 15 February 2015

    We are back under way.
