Craig Overton, Wayne Parnell and Ravi Rampaul also recorded five-fors, while there were only two centuries, from Kent's Sean Dickson and Steven Mullaney of Nottinghamshire.

We'll be here again on Wednesday from 10:30 BST to bring you all the action, when it looks as though three or four of our seven games will be finishing early if the fine weather continues.

Thanks for your company - and your #bbccricket contributions.

Sam Curran, Rikki Clarke and Gareth Batty took three wickets each and the defending champions are in a position to press home their advantage with the bat on day three.

  13. Glos on course for Riverside winpublished at 18:35 BST 21 May 2019

    Durham 158 & 132 v Gloucestershire 174 & 64-1 - close

Gloucestershire are poised for their first Championship win of the summer - it's just a question of how long it will take them to finish the job on the third morning at the Riverside.

Facing a target of only 117, Miles Hammond and Chris Dent shared an opening stand of 60 before the latter was caught behind off Matt Salisbury for 29.

But Hammond remains on 30 not out, with nightwatchman Josh Shaw - who took 3-31 in Durham's second innings - yet to score, and they only need another 53 for victory.

Pace bowler Liam Norwell was their star performer earlier in the day, taking 7-41 as Somerset's second innings lasted only 41.5 overs.

Craig Overton added 36 not out to his five wickets in Warwickshire's first innings and the Division One leaders will be hopeful of wrapping up a win on Wednesday morning, so they can turn their attention to Saturday's One-Day Cup final against Hampshire.
