All eight games are now finished for the day.
Let's have a look at the scores...
Essex 68-0 v Notts 187
A day of utter dominance for Essex.
Notts collapsed from 118-2 to 187 all out, before Nick Browne and Alastair Cook knocked off 68 of the deficit in the evening sunshine.
Cook will resume day two on 29, Browne closes on 34.

Rinse and repeat for Alastair Cook. Matthew Carter drops short again and the former England opener cuts him in front of point for a second four of the over.
One to go.
Kent 130-4 v Yorkshire 210
An breathless day's play ends with Kent just about on top thanks to the steadying hand of Zak Crawley.
The opener gets to stumps unbeaten on 73 in the company of Ollie Robinson, who is 14 not out, with their side trailing by 80.
The first two sessions were all about Yorkshire's batting frailties but their bowlers, especially Tim Bresnan, fought back well and some early wickets on day two would make the late-order resistance from Steven Patterson and Duanne Olivier look very useful indeed.
With 340 runs and 14 wickets to reflect on, they probably all need a lie down.

Notts will want to get off the field quickly... Alastair Cook chops Matthew Carter through point. Four more.
Essex 57-0 v Notts 187
Wondrous from Nick Browne. The Essex opener caresses Zak Chappell through the covers to the rope.
Two overs to go - Notts will want to get off the field.
Somerset v Surrey 330-6
Surrey go to stumps without losing any more wickets thanks to a late cameo by Rikki Clarke (28 not out) and a patient knock by Ryan Patel (25 not out).
It's been a day of twists and turns - but probably ends just about even thanks to that burst of wickets after tea.
Centuries for Rory Burns and Dean Elgar have driven the Surrey effort.

Two overs to go on day one at Canterbury.
Zak Crawley is still there on 65 - the knock of the day by a distance - with Ollie Robinson 14 not out.
That's not ideal for Worcestershire. The evergreen Durham seamer Chris Rushworth pins Daryl Mitchell lbw second ball. 0-1.
Essex 45-0 v Notts 187
You just don't bowl there at Alastair Cook.
Zak Chappell flings one in on his hips - four.
Four overs to go at Chelmsford. Essex trail by 142.
Warwickshire v Hampshire 291-6

Image source, PAUndoubtedly it's been Tom Alsop's day and the Hampshire batsman heads for the pavilion unbeaten on 131.
But Warwickshire's bowlers stuck to their task well, led by the impressive Oliver Hannon-Dalby, who took 4-58 from his 23 overs.
There were also two wickets from Bears captain Jeetan Patel but the highlight was probably Aneurin Donald's knock of 75 from 55 balls. An enjoyable day all round.
Somerset v Surrey 320-6
They're into the final few overs of day one at Taunton.
Ryan Patel has played a gutsy innings with wickets falling around him - the young all-rounder is on 25.
Another wicket or two for Somerset and they'll be able to say it's been their day.
Kent 114-4 v Yorkshire 210
The first half-century of the day at Canterbury is brought up with an emphatic hook shot by Zak Crawley off Duanne Olivier.
He's now rattled along to 57 and Ollie Robinson is with him on 14.
Durham's first innings is over at New Road - Charlie Morris finishes with 6-53 as they're all out for 273.
Worcestershire will have a few overs to bat shortly.
Elsewhere Lancashire have lost a wicket against Northants - Haseeb Hameed is out for seven.
Middlesex have eked their way up to 313-8 against Leicestershire and Gloucestershire are 335-6 at Newport.
Essex 35-0 v Notts 187
Nick Browne joins Alastair Cook in the boundary club with a punch through the off side.
Bowler Steven Mullaney is furious. It's not been Nottinghamshire's day.

Ollie Robinson brings up the Kent 100 with a clip off his legs for a single off Duanne Olivier.
You'd think the home side would be happy to get to the close with no further losses.
But that's not really how the day has gone.
Somerset v Surrey 314-6
These are handy runs late in the day for Surrey.
Rikki Clarke clips Jack Brooks off his legs for four and then finishes the over with a smack through point.
He's up to a run-a-ball 14.
Essex 24-0 v Notts 187
Four at Chelmsford! Ali Cook with it.
It's classic Cooky - Stuart Broad fires one in on his hips and the left-hander whips it to the fence.
Broad has seen it from his former England mate hundreds of times before. He just turns and walks back to his mark.
