That brings Sunday's county cricket coverage to a close.

It's a happy evening if you're a fan of Hampshire, in particular - but not a happy one to be a follower of Somerset.

So, all seven games have now come to an end for the day.

There were impressive wins for Hampshire over Somerset in Taunton, Nottinghamshire over Gloucestershire at Trent Bridge and Worcestershire over Northants at Northampton.

Elsewhere, Derbyshire's final day with Leicestershire ended in a predictable draw on a flat pitch.

That leaves us with Essex v Surrey, Kent v Sussex and Glamorgan v Durham, which will all resume at 11:00 BST tomorrow.

Sussex have successfully negotiated two of the five sessions needed to salvage a draw. But it's come at a price, with Kent now just four wickets from victory at Tunbridge Wells.

Michael Burgess (44 not out) and David Wiese (14 not out) are still there, but it's surely just a matter of time until Kent follow Worcestershire's example and pick up a fourth straight win in Division Two.

Sussex, who've won one of their three matches so far this season, still trail by a whopping 321 runs and only have Vernon Philander, Jofra Archer and Danny Briggs to come.

Northamptonshire have released a statement regarding Richard Levi, who was struck on the head by a Josh Tongue bouncer earlier today.

The South African was taken to hospital as a precaution and the club say he's now been discharged.

The statement, external read:

"Following some precautionary tests at Northampton General Hospital Richard has been diagnosed with mild concussion and is resting at home.

"Northamptonshire County Cricket Club would like to thank all fans for their kind words of support."

Daryl Mitchell notched a magnificent 239 runs in the match.

Visitors Worcestershire round off their win in style, hitting five consecutive boundaries.

Daryl Mitchell shows particular swagger with the latter four of those, finishing with... Four, Six, Four, Four.

He ends on 78, alongside Joe Clarke on 34.

It's a fourth straight win for Worcestershire. They've beaten Northamptonshire by eight wickets.

What a way to cap a wonderful day. Liam Dawson, who bowled non-stop, taking 4-66 to help Hampshire beat Somerset by 90 runs at Taunton earlier, has been called up to the England squad to play South Africa tomorrow.

Middlesex fast-bowling pair Steven Finn and Toby Roland-Jones will be on familiar turf in what is likely to be a much-changed side, which could feature frustrated drinks dispenser Jonny Bairstow as well.

Moeen Ali, Ben Stokes and Chris Woakes are all sitting out the game with minor knocks.

England wrapped up the series with a narrow two-run win yesterday, meaning they can have a look at others in the final match of the three-game series.

Hitting 19 runs - including three boundaries - from the first two of their eight extra overs this evening, Worcestershire are closing in on winning before the close.

They need just a further 24 runs to clinch it.

Despite resistance from Stiaan Van Zyl, who made an excellent 78, and Michael Burgess' 42 not out, Kent are on the verge of a deserved victory

Joe Denly has picked up a couple of wickets including Van Zyl and then Chris Jordan for a pair, to add to the 189 runs he has made in the match.

Heavy rain is forecast for tonight and Kent will have fingers crossed that doesn't spoil what should be victory celebrations tomorrow.

Eight extra overs will be played tonight at Wantage Road, where Worcestershire need 43 runs to beat Northamptonshire tonight.

This could be very interesting indeed...

Rain has forced an early end to day three at Chelmsford, where Surrey lead by 41 runs.

Depending on the weather tomorrow, that one is set up nicely for an interesting final day.

Earlier, Northamptonshire's Richard Levi was taken to hospital by ambulance as a precaution, after being struck on the head by the ball.

There are at least 10 overs left in this one tonight, but it would take a monumental recovery from Sussex for them to kept the 340 they need to win from here, or to bat for over three sessions to draw...

With Durham leading Glamorgan by 147 runs, bad light has stopped play for the day at Swansea.

However, they are still playing at Tunbridge Wells, where Kent need another five wickets to beat Sussex.

They've just taken the big wicket of Stiaan van Zyl, who had made an excellent 78.

Into the run chase at Northampton, with Worcestershire I'm sure hoping to wrap things up tonight.

They've made a positive start to chasing 148 in 32 overs, for what would be a fourth-consecutive County Championship victory to stay on the coat tails of Notts - and having played a game fewer too. vulnerable Sussex side to come for them next week too.

Northants applied themselves far better in the second innings, chiefly through Rob Keogh who made an unbeaten 88 - his best effort of the season.

But there were again far too many poor dismissals and again no significant partnerships - Northants have produced only one stand in three figures for the top six wickets so far this season.

As it is, Northants are sliding to a fourth consecutive County Championship defeat against Worcestershire. Only question is, can it be done tonight?
