So wins by 24 runs for both Nottinghamshire and Surrey in today's quarter-finals. Here's what they have won.

Surrey beat Yorkshire by 24 runs
It really was a team display from Surrey. Kumar Sangakkara's 121 and Ben Foakes' 86 helped them reach a competitive total of 313-7.
But arguably it was in the field where they were their most impressive. The energy, ground fielding and varied bowling made scoring difficult for Yorkshire.

Despite Matthew Waite's 34 they fell short with Ravi Rampaul picking up 3-54.
Tom Curran finishes it off and Surrey are through to the semi-finals to face Worcestershire at New Road on Saturday. They've deservedly beaten Yorkshire at Headingley.
A wonderful all-round display, full of varied bowling and excellent fielding.

A good hand from Matthew Waite comes to an end as he plays one inventive shot too many.
Tom Curran cleans him up as he makes room and tries to cut the ball off his stumps. Not that it matters. Surrey are going to the semi-finals this weekend to play Worcestershire.

All round Surrey's bowling and fielding has come together. And Sangakkara we know what he's done, what the master has made.

Surrey have been dynamite in the field. So much so that even Ravi Rampaul is running people out.
He misfields from Matthew Waite's shot at mid-off but he recovers and a direct hit sees Matthew Fisher heading back to the pavilion.

Jade Dernbach is a big football fan and he shows it from some nimble feet there. Matthew Waite jams down on a slower ball yorker and goes for a run.
Azeem Rafiq is left hung out to dry as Dernbach finds the stumps with his trusty right foot.

Lovely stuff Matthew Waite. Two runs across the crease, two flicks down to fine-leg, two boundaries from Sam Curran's bowling.
Curran responds with one that skims the leg-stump and one that hits the pad. He finishes with 0-62 from his 10 overs.

Jade Dernbach is in his element now, bowling at the death with plenty of runs in the bag to play with. He nails a full house of tricks, bringing out the back-of-the-hand slower ball, back of a length quick one and a classic yorker.
Azeem Rafiq gets the final ball away for two, but it's not enough. 64 runs required from 30 balls now.

Peter Handscomb clobbers Jade Dernbach's first ball out to cow corner, but Burns sprints around and dives to take it just in front of the rope. Awesome stuff and yet another example of modern one-day fielding.

Some wonderful, athletic fielding from Surrey. It's making such a difference. Two powerful strokes out into the deep are mopped up and Sam Curran's over goes for just seven runs.
